My only prediction is that Miami will be a heck of a lot more competetive than last year and they wont give up or wear down later in the game as they used to.

The Jets wont be playing the old Miami Dolphins and better bring their lunch.

I'm not going to go quite in depth as the rest of you all, but some of the key people:

Pennington 230 throught the air 22 rushing 1td passing 1 td rushing - 0 turnovers

Williams 22 carries for 115 yds with at least two runs of 15+ 1 TD
Brown 15 carries for 68 yards with three runs of 10+ 1 TD

    Defense a a whole 3 INT's, 5 Sacks, 2 FF, 1 FR
Hold Jets to under 350 total yards of offense.

    Miami 31 - Jets 21

Dolphins win 21-14, Ricky goes off for 140 yds and two long runs, 3 years of not playing in the NFL will have Ricky psyched to prove himself again.

Only a prediction. Good for you,Alen. Your being honest with how you feel.
I really feel the Fins will take this game because of the uncertainty we have as a whole. They can talk about Farve all they like, but when it comes down to it.He "won't" be the difference in the game. The D for us will win this. We,as a team, will stuff the run this game(unlike last year). That gives us a better chance at dictating what the Jets will do.Also lets hope the heat plays an advantage. If the O-line and Ricky/Ronnie do well(which I expect),it will be a long day for the Jets D. I see the score being:

    Dolphins- 19
    Jets-17

Given Browns track record against the Jets he might have been the better choice but my gut says it'll be Williams with the better stat line. I can see the Phins going over 100 yards on the ground in this game but I don't think they'll get anywhere close to 200 like most of you seem to think. One of them had to get the short end of the stick.

I don't understand why all the espn folks have us finishing 3-13 / 4-12 with that lineup!

I think it will be a close game. I think both teams will probably play it a little conservatively....ball control offense, lots of handoffs to Ricky and Ronnie and then some 10 yard passes to our TE's and Receivers. Pennington will play a smart game and I see us winning it by a field goal:

    Phins 20 Jets 17

    I'll just stick to Offense:

    Pennington: 16-23, 169yds, TD, 2 INT
    R.Williams: 17 carries, 67yds
    Brown: 10 carries, 49yds; 3 receptions, 27yds
    Ginn: 6 receptions, 94yds, TD
    Fasano: 4 receptions, 36yds

    Jets: 24
    Dolphins: 16

Not exactly sure about the low total of rushing yards. Do you have that much confidence in your rush defense?

I can understand why you wrote Pennington having two picks because of the expectations you have for your run defense as I mentioned above. If you guys do stop the run, its possible he throws two picks. I don't think he throws two but its possible like I said.

I'm interested to see how Ginn plays against Darelle Revis. As you already know, Revis is a good player and I think highly of him. That will be a nice match-up to keep an eye on.
