There goes Trent Williams. Traded to SF for a 5th this year and a 3rd next year.

Contract extension aside, I would've done that deal.

Followed by Washington taking Charles, probably the most talented OL left. All depends on where his head is at, could be a good player for them.

Big old body out of Georgia. Nicknamed The Big Fish, which I guess is appropriate.

I know his nickname is because he used to be a lifeguard, but when I just watched his highlights his belly was bouncing so much it reminded me of a fish flopping around on the ground. I know I shouldn't laugh, but...it looked pretty damn funny. Seriously, belly flopping around or not, the dude gets after it.

Meh. I had club membership for a while several years back. Never did see what all the hoopla was all about.

Besides, I'm more of the blue-collar middle-class commoner myself. The mains is where I'm most comfortable.

But, thanks Dan Marino! You're still the man!

They said better in pass pro than run blocking.

Makes sense. They're going all in on protecting the new franchise QB.

I like this pick, he was one of my top rated guards. Seems like we finally have the guard situation figured out. Tackle and C I am still worried about.

Jackson is a developmental guy, those "stats" are misleading. Go watch some actual film for a change instead of chasing stats, that's right I remember you are not very good at the watching film thing. Jackson did not face the same level of competition as the other guys he is being compared to there, and when he faced top competition he got beat. Epeneza for example manhandled him, yes he has room to grow and has potential, but you cannot deny that he is a developmental prospect at this point and we reached for him.

Kindley has a lot of bad weight. It's going to take a while to turn that into good weight, but if he can, maybe he has a chance. He seems to have the tenacity I like in an OL.

Do you think they intend to keep him as a LT or perhaps move him to the right side since we now have a southpaw QB?

Yeah, his weight scares me a bit. He needs to keep that in check and get in better shape, but his ability is definitely there. Even with all that dead weight he still moves around very well.

I would say yes, unless we pick up another tackle he could be moved to the right side, but he still needs to develop. Either way tua is going to sit out a good portion of the year so I think they are going to keep Jackson at LT for now.

One thing that can't be denied about this draft in regards to the lineman on both sides of the ball..the majority are known for having a nasty streak. Tough and physical...Love it
