Obviously losing someone that you don't know is quite different from losing someone that you do know and care about. Still....It leaves you with an empty feeling. For any Dolphin fan that is over 35 years old, you KNOW who coach Shula was. As someone pointed out so brilliantly...He's the father of this franchise. So it's sad to lose him. It's basically another piece of my childhood gone and filed away for yesterday. Over time, it'll be forgotten, worn down, and basically turned into a sweet memory. I will say this about people who live to be 90 years old. If we're lucky, we'll all get to be old much longer than we are young. The clock only moves in one direction. He did great things while he was here. Travel well coach.
