Just a nice read I found while browsing yahoo sports on Ronnie Brown talking about his comeback... Some may enjoy... Personally i hope he stays healthy all year and proves everyone wrong about potentially considering him a "bust"

    Nice read.

I think his knee may be good to go. The positive thing out of this is that he won't have a heavy workload which gives him a lesser chance of getting injured. His career high in games played is 15, in 2005. He shared the ball with Ricky in 2005. Hopefully that means he will be healthy for us this year because he will be a key part in the running game.

Regarding him being a backup to Ricky, I don't look at it that way. I think their both starters as Ronnie said even though Ricky is first on the depth chart. They will be splitting the ball and Ronnie is a slow starter so it may be a positive thing to have Ricky out there first.

I agree. I think when it comes to the RB position on this team. We have no clear starter. What we have is two powerful, fast, dominant backs that are capable of wearing down defenses and taking control of games. Who cares who's on the field when. All that matters is one of them is out there, moving the ball, beating on the defense, scoring points and wearing down the clock. Most teams have one great RB and one average. We, IMO have two great ones, that together could be unstopable, which is definately good for us. Splitting time, keeps them both fresh, and hopefully injury free.

Just going to add this here instead of starting a whole new thread.

Sparano's comments on Hagan and Camarillo:

I like Hagan at the number two spot with Camarillo in the slot.

Talking about how many Receivers he plans on activating come game day:

Ernest Wilford could be a healthy scratch for Sunday. Not a good thing at all for him. The guy has to pick up his game or he'll be in trouble.

Not a good sign for Wilford, but a crappy sign for Wayne..who shelled out the big bonus a few months ago...still, wins will erase that crappy feeling...

As to Brown, obviously he's healed enough to be in the lineup and playing...we've all seen the writing on the wall and he won't be 100% until sometime later in the year...that's the nature of an ACL tear...it takes about a calendar year to fully recover for footballers...

Either way, it's quite comforting, if you are Sparano, to have a Ricky Williams to go along with the guy that is considered your feature back...

honestly i would not mind seeing ronnie go on the pup list to start this season. let ricky and whoever out of cobbs/parmalee/hilliard hammer out the first six games of the season. this would let ronnie work on strength and conditioning for another six weeks and he would be better for it. hoping this means ronnie is ready to go, but that injury is tough, especially for a running back

Yeah, it sucks he hasn't played up to expectations. From a glass half full perspective though, it probably isn't the worst thing in the world from a team talent perspective if our most proven WR, with the most solid NFL track record, is 5th on the depth chart. It hopefully indicates the 4 guys ahead are average to potentially above average NFL players, even if they haven't done it consistently on Sundays to this point.

I think Ronnie Browns knee will be good this year. I think he will stay healthy knock on wood.
