Haha. Good enough for me. Was watching a live stream from Boston fans and they are acting like Boston is giving games away and not giving the Heat credit. They will see soon enough realize that this team is so deep and has “clutch” written all over it. And it’s defense is like a bunch of piranhas come late game.

Fantastic game. Congrats Heat fans. Your team is fun to root for. I’m on the bandwagon. Really hate both Celtics and Laker fans. Get em.

Butler, 30th pick. Dragic, 45th pick. Crowder, 34th pick. Bam, 14th pick. Herro, 13th pick. Duncan, undrafted. Nunn, undrafted.

Going up against a squad full of top 3 and top 10 picks, and dominating. Can we all come together as dolphins fans and pray that we even get half of this scouting for our phins?

Yall all know im big *** homer, but Miami actually has a shot to win the damn NBA championship this year.

Spo has the Heat running like a finely tune precision engine. Defend the Heat 3 point shot and they run a well run pick and roll game. Double screens, lots of motion...they are so well drilled, they know who is open and when. The hustle on defense and the help away from the double team shows how much these guys have bought into team ball.

I always forget we have forums for other sports here, LOL. The Heat have been freakin' incredible in these playoffs and they're playing like an all-star team. I stopped watching the Heat/NBA when Wade retired since the era of super-teams kind of ruins it for young squads...I can honestly tell you that I didn't know a single Heat player's name a few weeks ago other than Dragic. But the way these kids grind on defense and smother shooters, the way they play together unselfishly, I actually think that they have a chance to win it all.

My favorite player has to be Hirro...he does so much a rookie has absolutely no business doing and the kid plays fearlessly. Bam is obviously an all-star and the way he went off on breaks to the basket to get us back in the game the other night was a thing of beauty. His block at the end of game one....OMG! Pure beats mode! I could go thru almost the entire roster as a "new fan" of the team...they remind me so much of those late 90's teams under Mourning that just wouldn't give up.

The crazy part was that Spo blasted them in the locker room at halftime the other night and told them they were playing lazy compared to their normal tempo...then they come out and have a 20+ point swing in a single period. I don't think we've seen the very best this team has to offer folks- at least I haven't seen them go all-out for four quarters and hit their shots. This team could be scary good and I think they could actually win it all this season....they're just flat-out hustling harder than their opponents.

The Miami Heat have been the biggest blessing for me during COVID- they've been simply amazing to watch!

PS- there's a rumor out there that Giannnis wants out of Milwaukee and Miami is where he wants to go. Could you imagine adding the Greek Freak to this already incredible rotation next season?

I can't put this squad above the year Wade won his first ring, but I completely agree with you that they're something special. I've watched every Heat team from inception and none of them have worked like this team works...they're next-level in hustle and grind. The crazy part is that every team we've faced in the playoffs has had a better roster talent-wise, but our boys just went out there and out-worked them thru tough team play.

My favorite Heat teams are still the ones with Tim Hardaway and Alonzo I watched as a kid.

I love Wade, but Timmy and Zo will always be who I think when I think Heat.

Yeah, Zo is my favorite Heat player ever...tough to beat Wade but Mourning's story & comeback are just too incredible. He played his hardest in that final season when he was probably at his weakest- just love the dude and what he did for the sport.

I remember that first season I was maybe 17 or 18 and the games rarely sold out since we weren't that good. Ticketmaster would sell all remaining seats the day of the game at 4PM for $7, so my buddies and I went to a bunch of those games back in the day. LOL, Ronnie Seikaly was probably our best player year one and then Hardaway came along and made it fun...the master of the crossover dribble!

The Carolina Panthers did the same thing with the cheap tickets on gameday and that made me really appreciate hockey as a sport...it's 100x better in person.

that’s just insane to me. I get it, I love Zo, I love that he’s a part of the FO, he’s a heat legend, and I started watching heat ball in the 90s, (Obligatory **** Latrell sprewell, Patrick Ewing, and Charles Oakley) and Hes the first player I remember really obsessing over outside of Jordan, Gary Sheffield, and Ken Griffey.

but D wade is bae. Wade County. We’re talking top 3 SG, top 20 player of all time. We’re talking carrying Miami to it’s 1st ring, and really being the mastermind behind the big 3. I still have dreams of this man in his prime on the court.

Let’s hope our boys come back Wednesday pissed and putting the clamps on defense. Dragic and Jimmy need to attack the paint all game and I’d love to see Tyler attack more as well. He’s good at drawing fouls.

I feel confident we won’t miss 32 3s and shoot 38% from the floor again.

I absolutely agree with you, but it was Zo who started Wade down that path believing that they could win any game through intensity and ridiculous defense. I mean, Wade absolutely dominated the playoffs that 2nd year and literally took teams on 5 vs 1 that season...I remember thinking that he was better than Jordan at the time and his career would prove that. I'm absolutely nuts over Wade and became a Bulls fan, a Cleveland fan to follow him over the Heat in that little stretch...I've never done that before with any player. He's the best ever in my book and an amazing guy to boot.

But the way Zo came back from life-threatening sickness, to take a pay cut & buying out his contract to return to Miami, then playing that ridiculously hard when he wasn't 100%....man, that's like a fairy tale or something. I just have so much respect for him for showing that team how to become winners- he really started it all and delivered what we're seeing on the court today from this crop of rookies & young players. To me, Zo made the dynasty, not Wade!

I absolutely love them both though and it's not fair having to pick one "favorite". =)

Wade was amazing, but your favorite player doesnt have to be the best player.

If my favorite player was the best Heat player ever, then it would be the best basketball player of all time, Lebron James.

True, let me rephrase that. A person's favorite player doesnt have to be the person who spent the longest with the team or had the best career with the team.

    LA’s starting lineup:

    bron
    AD
    Dwight
    Danny peewee Green
    KC “jailbird” P

Rondo, Kuz, and Morris getting significant minutes off the bench.

This is as top heavy a team as it gets. Lebron and AD are scary obviously. But man, Miami just absolutely destroys them when it comes to depth. This is going to be a finals that goes down as a great one.

Heat will not lose to Lebronda. Period. Not in this universe or any of them. It's not a possibility I even remotely accept.

God that aged poorly. Bam pulled a Wade 2006 in the 4th quarter. Just unbelievable effort from Bam. Boards, defense and offensive efficiency.

Congrats Miami! Incredible effort, incredible play, incredible achievement. The title is within your grasp. If you're able to win it all this will go down as one of the best championships of all time, IMO.

That said, I think you've got an uphill struggle. All along I've believed the Lakers are massive favourites to win it and they've not disappointed so far. I think you guys are the best matchup for them and will make this more challenging than any other team. Whatever happens I'm certain this is going to be a great series!

They are dumb questions if you're fairly intelligent. Sadly, they are the types of questions people in this world want to hear for some reason.

I thought her questions to the players were a tiny bit better than Spo.
