yea, I called it the favray love fest when they announced the announcers.. if we knock him around and I won't mind it.. and it will shut them up

 

man i just dont understand the media. Why is there stuff other than Miami Dolphins on the TV. There should be nothing but Miami Dolphins on cable. Every chanel too. ESPN, Food Network, Discovery, FX, nothing but Dolphins. Go Dolphins!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

I wish dan has mentioned that it took him more games to do it and he also became the NFL's all time leader in turnovers in the process.

Small things to watch:

Damien Woody: Look out for him against Kendall Langford. Woody has I believe 4 career starts at RT. Langford is a very strong player that uses his hands well and likes to bull-rush the opposition. The bull-rush is the only move in his arsenal right now I believe. Woody will have to battle with Langford and Roth. Roth will blitz off the edge and could cause some major problems.

Jason Allen: As it was mentioned, Lehan is inactive for today's game. Allen will be playing both Safety and Corner today. It'll be interesting to see how he plays.

Dustin Keller: Keller can stretch the field imo and I think that's all he will be asked to do. He can't block worth squat so his pass-catching skills will be needed for the Jets. We have to watch if the LB's cover Keller underneath while the Safeties, Yeremiah Bell and Crocker, cover him deep. Crocker's coverage skills have been praised by Sparano in the past.

Jets Secondary: They have a rookie CB opposite of Darelle Revis. Dwight Lowry is a good player who can create turnovers. Kerry Rhodes is still back there and everyone knows what he's capable of. The starting spot opposite of Rhodes is something to watch for. Eric Smith I think his name is and Elam are playing there. I don't know how good they are. I recall Jets fans saying Smith is a very bad player and is only on the team because he's a Mangini guy.

Kris Jenkins: Jenkins is a good player and is playing in the 34 for the first time in his career. He could give some trouble to the interior offensive linemen of ours. The biggest thing to watch for is him in the fourth quarter. If the game is close, expect Miami to pound it and with Jenkins out of shape, he could be back to his low-effort ways.

Brett Favre: Favre is still in the basics of the Jets offense. He doesn't have any audibles right now and he's not very comfortable in the offense. He still had a good pre-season completing 14 of 18 passes and had his highest QB rating of his career.

Dolphins Run Defense: As we all know, they were bad last year and need to improve. With Ferguson, heat could be trouble toward the end. We have to stop Leon Washington in receiving and rushing. He could be the X-factor for the Jets.

Lehan, Wilford, Beck, Parmale, Dotson, Rod Wright, Garner, and Murphy are all inactive.

 

As do I can't wait to see the Jets start sweltering and collapsing in the heat

 

Key to the game for us is how well Thomas-Satele-Smiley keep the jets out of the pocket, especailly Kris Jenkins, especially early, let that heat go to work.

But those three have not played together before, delayed blitzes, stunts, all have to be taken care of and that takes playing together...

 

I remember how much I hate the feeling before a game - several years ago it used to be anticipation. Recent years it has become dread. This season my stomach doesn't know which way to flop yet. Heres to anticipation!

 

You know how this works, we will run the ball early with little success, but like body shots in a boxing match eventually they run out of gas in that heat...

R+R express has "good" conditions, the only drawback is that dirt infield IMO.

 

yea Padre, they will see stuff they haven't seen before in this game.. Fergie says you can't get Sampson twice with the same move, so there is that.

 

Its so onnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn last year is history the new era begins!!!!!
