    From PFT:

The Dolphins already appeared to have Sunday’s game against the 49ers in hand when they ran a fake punt while leading 30-14 in the second half on Sunday. But Dolphins coach Brian Flores says he’ll never skip an opportunity for a big play.

Flores said the fake punt was a play the Dolphins expected to work, so when they got the opportunity on fourth-and-1, they went for it.

I don’t think you want to sit on the ball early in the third quarter. We got the look we wanted. We ran it. And it was successful,” Flores said, via the Palm Beach Post.

After the fake punt, the Dolphins marched down the field and scored another touchdown, taking a 37-14 lead and putting the game out of reach. Flores and the Dolphins were right to remain aggressive.

We don't ever want a repeat of the "Miracle in the Meadowlands" fiasco,, ever.

    Good for Brian.

It was a brilliant move and kept the momentum going.

Flores has already shown, in his season and a bit in Florida, that he is not afraid to use a trick play, and if it helps to keep the opposing D off balance, all the better.

After the REFS shifted momentum to the 49ers, Flores basically said he wasn't going to get robbed again by questionable calls (not just this past week, but in general)

    Loved the call.

That was a great chess move by Flores. I like this thinking.

I liked the call for the fake punt, but does everyone on special teams always run onto the field that way? They way they did it made me think it was a trick play before the snap, but maybe they always do that with their arms and it was a false flag to me that means nothing?
