Well I'm not sure about this year due to COVID honestly. A lot of special rules are in place that wouldnt be other years in college and the pros.

Where it says they become automatically eligible even if they dont declare is the sticking point. It's not in the most basic of wording, but it's basically saying that any player eligible is automatically available to be picked after X number of college years or graduation, and I believe underclassmen HAVE to declare to have NFL eligibility.

Now, if you didnt play college ball and took some weird path to the pros I assume there would be some other route in, but just logically if a player could avoid the draft process someone would gave exploited it already, like Eli for example who was dead set against playing in SD.

Hes probably getting paid better at Clemson then he would by the Jets. I’m kidding but I’m sure he’s currently being taken care of very well at Clem$on. At a minimum he’s got one of the best PED programs in the country available to him.

This is true, but are all messes created equal? Like, if I had to be outside during a tornado I'd want it to be the least chaotic and terrible one possible even though all tornadoes are deadly.

I think Trevor fears being a Jets QB more than other people at his moment.
