This is true and I agree, but on some level our goal should be to have a realistic and accurate mindset.
Why? I mean, I try to have a realistic mindset just so I won't get too high and bummed when reality happens, but I don't begrudge anyone who would rather believe we're going to the SB every year.
I think we'll win the next 3 convincingly but yeah, it's still one game at a time putting in the prep work and repetitions. That's the only way to guarantee that you win the next 3. As Resnor said though, I'm not prepping in that locker room so I can claim the next 3 as a victory today. Then again, I had already claimed the last 4 so there's no reason to stop now. I said we'd win 6 of 7 with the only loss to Arizona...and I was pleasantly wrong once out of the four games. So now I'm altering that to a 7-game win streak!
I thought Salvon Ahmed did very well, considering he’d just been promoted from the practice squad. I'm not sure that he would be a long-term solution our problems at running back, but if he continues to be as productive as he was in Phoenix, he will be a very useful member of the team.
One persons rationality could be another persons irrationality. It depends on who's knothole you're looking through.
That's true, but certain things we can at least agree upon a range of rational thoughts and where they start to be a bit kooky.
Fan is not short of fanatic for nothing - we need a bit more hope & excitement in our lives, particularly at the moment
We visit the USA every summer, and I buy a copy of one of the NFL preview magazines, and, naturally, I take great interest in its predictions for the Dolphins and AFC East in general. Of course, last summer, we couldn’t travel, so no mag. Can anyone remember the prediction for the team? I’d imagine that we weren’t expected to do particularly well. Maybe not even reach the five wins that we already have.
Vegas had us winning 6 games. No one will make that mistake again! https://www.sportsoddshistory.com/nfl-win/?y=2020&sa=nfl&t=win&o=t
