Another fumble.. what a joke this is. Wow.. It's ok, at some point the Jets will remember what's on the line and come back down to earth in this one.
Jets win wouldn’t be so bad and their D came to play today. I could life with a loss today, as long as they don’t get Lawrence.
If we lose today we may not win another game this season. How can we look so good one week or so bad a couple weeks later?
It's not Fitz hating. It's more of the preposterous notion that the team is worlds better with Fitz at QB then it is with Tua. I personally see the same things going on that we have seen for the entirety of the season. The D carrying us, special teams, and an amazing field goal kicker.
Glad, that you can explain what other posters think, impressive! I said I could „life“ with a loss „today“, cause we’re not winning the SB this year and I don’t like the Idea of Lawrence in green...
Nice to see the run game finish the game strong, though the Jets clearly checked out. In looking to 2021, I want to see Tua out there next week versus the Bengals, but the OL has to play better. It's less about winning than getting Tua ready to thrive in 2021.
Poor evaluation by you.Tua is a separation guy.We have wrs that don't get separation.Look at Fitz completions to parker today.Zero separation today yet had over 100 yds. Box out or go up and get it.Tua won't throw these passes so noway we would have scored 20 pts with him Fitz is better with the skill set at wr we have now.
And that’s why next year’s first pick should be spent on one of the elite receivers in the draft, possibly even one Tua has played with before. Houston needs to lose a few more games to ensure they have that option, however.
I'm not gonna argue with you. You obviously don't like Tua and that's fine by me. I don't really care what you think. This was an ugly game plain and simple. Yes. We got the win, but it was in the upmost boring fashion. I saw the SAME exact offense that we've been seeing with Tua running things. True...Tua doesn't gamble the way Fitz does, but I think we would have yielded the same exact results. It's ok to disagree, i'm done arguing. Go Phins! Good win, we needed it, playoffs are still in reach. That's all I care about.
It's all good man!I'm not trying to be a dick!I want to win just like you but scared Tua is not the answer This would put us back to square one.
That's honestly my biggest fear too. So naturally I'm going to cling to the idea that Tua IS the guy until he proves otherwise.
Except that the offense scored 20 today, and we ended the game kneeling down in the red-zone at the end....so let's call that 23 points minimum. Tua's offense is not hitting that scoring level, hence the loss last week. An opportunity for 23+ from Fitz this week, 10 from Tua last week. It's not preposterous to say one offense is better than the other- it's common sense.
Tua is a rookie...and there's nothing more to say there. You can't judge a rookie QB on 4 starts in the NFL- it's just way too early for that and people need to calm down. If he busts, he busts...but that's not going to be this season based on a few instant hot takes.
