This dude is trolling and picking at low hanging fruit because his team got beat. He should probably be more worried about his own teams QB.

Ben Volin is what happens when you're a Skip Bayless without a Shannon Sharpe in your life.

He's always been an even keeled reporter when he was down here, is he being sarcastic?

Volin has just become a total jackwagon to Dolphins fans since leaving the Fins beat for the Patriots. He's a complete troll.

:sidelol: What a tool. Tua didn't light up the stat sheet throwing the ball today, but I'd say that's not because the coaches don't trust him, they didn't trust the mess we put on the field around him at WR to make plays. Not much you can do in the passing game when you're starting your 4th and 5th stringers. When we needed a play they were more than comfortable putting it in his hands or on his legs.

I mean, a rookie going up against a BB defense with essentially a number of homeless guys plucked from the street 20 minutes prior to kickoff ... not exactly a shock we didn't light up the air yards. But 2 rushing TDs from the QB and enough to get the W and put the nail in the Pastriot's season. See ya next year.

There is no coach in the league who should "trust" (in the sense meant here) a rookie QB. Unless it's absolutely necessary, you keep your rookie QB from having to carry the team.

Dolphins fans sure are chirpy after that win. Tua was a backseat passenger

Yeah, we're a chirpy bunch because we were able to dispatch the mighty patriots with our practice squad RBs while Tua sat in the backseat resting his arm for the more serious competition down the road.

I like Herbert a lot more too, but it is what it is. We just have to hope that Tua becomes a good QB as well.

Either way, Volin is a jerk and unprofessional.

As the biggest detractor of Tua in Miami before he started playing, this is such crap and I almost wonder if its sarcasm.

Minus the one interception he made strong decisions and throws all day to move the offense.

I'd still take Herbert in a redo but hey.
