Depends on what they'd want IMO. Can't deny the talent and turning 26 this year. Wonder why they're shopping him though. Arguably one of the best RB tandems in the league. Wonder if something's going on behind closed doors, or if he's on the verge of being disciplined by the league again. Hmmm....
Chubb is going into the final year of his rookie deal and is arguably the best RB in the league, at 25 years old. If they want to extend him, they need to pay him, and trading Hunt would clean room and open a spot in the RB room for a rookie to take his place.
Ill take him... hes the kind of running bsck we need..: runs strong ALL the time, breaks tackles, can run between the tackles and explodes in the smallest of gaps, can line up at the slot and catch...
Not a free agent. And they got him cheap because of baggage ($5 million for this season), so his deal is not problematic. Besides that, thanks to missing most of a season and being in a tandem, he's got plenty of tread left on those wheels. I'd still take a RB in the draft but if the compensation is reasonable, I'd snatch Hunt up in a heartbeat. He's not Lawrence Phillips or Cecil Collins.
His physical attack on a woman several years back got him suspended, but talent always gets a second or third chance. I'd prefer Miami look at other options, but they could go with the 'lesson learned, very sorry for what he did' angle.
