With a healthy Prescott, that offense could average 40 a game with Pitts added to the mix.

Theyll give up 40 a game too... they got no money on defense other than an overpaid d-lawrence

I hope that the Fins can put that kind of group around Tua. Dallas has managed to allow an OK QB to look like a Pro Bowler with a great scheme and talent.

Would you swap #6 for #10 and #44? That takes Pitts and Chase off the board. They’d probably still have a shot at Smith or Waddle. I would then take Harris at #18, then go DE,LB and C in round 2(depending on who’s available, of course).

I would. That 44 could make sure Miami takes a C or RB or LB.

No. I'd only swap 6 for 10, 44, and their first rounder next year.

It depends who’s off the board at 6. The trade value chart says we’d be ahead but I think you adjust the value of the #6 value if Chase or Pitts is there. The other risk is Smith is likely off the board at 10 too.

I’d need 10, 44 and 2022 2nd if Pitts or Chase is available. Maybe a little more.

Absolutely not. There will be a hall of famer on the board at 6.

You draft that guy. Super bowl teams have superstar players.

Unless our scouts/evaluators are not confident in their own ability to grade these prospects and are not pounding the table on specific names. Then you trade back and hope for luck of the draw. (I hope this isn’t the case)

If Jerry is that “obsessed” with Pitts, maybe they do add a 2022 second rounder to sweeten the deal. That might be tough to resist. It also depends on what Atlanta and Cincy do at #4 and #5.

If Pitts and Chase are both gone by the time #6 is on the board, then yes, I'd make that trade. If either are still there, I'm taking them.

That would be such a Jerry and Cowboys move lol, what a disaster of a team that would be. No defense, OL falling apart, QB coming back from major injury ... let's trade up for a TE when we have Amari and literally just took a first round WR last year.

Way to many eggs in the basket.

As for the proposed trade of 6 for 10 and 44 ... meh, no thanks. We would essentially have given up our first rounder next year for a second rounder this year while also losing 4 spots in the first round this year. We did not trade up to 6 just to take a deal like that.

Grier and Flores clearly have at least one, maybe 2 guys who they really want and are sure will be there at 6. Unless we get a borderline absurd deal, we are staying and picking.

I go back and forth on whether that would be enough for Chase or Pitts. Pitts is a generational talent and Chase seems like the next Deandre Hopkins.

The way I look at it is it I had Kelce or Hopkins on my team, what would it take to trade them? I think 2 1st round picks. Clearly there’s an unknown there because they are unproven but they both look like they could be that good.

I would say this deal gets serious consideration if Chase and Pitts get drafted by #6. Otherwise, I can’t see it happening, unless Dallas makes a ridiculous offer.

Seems Sewell's stock may be dropping a bit (Slater starting to get some love for OT#1 in this draft).

The trade with Philly starting to make a little more sense to me. With QB's pretty much a lock to go #1, #2 & #3 (and maybe #4 too), the Dolphins are in a sweet spot for a blue chip player at #6. Pitts, Chase, Sewell, Slater. Kinda hard to go wrong IMO.

I don’t believe pits will be there at six and I think he’s a generational talent imagine having to dominate Tight ends like New England did. No way to stop that offense and they have super bowls to prove it.

we should have kept third pick and grabbed him. Not so sure he will make it to six I believe he’s top 5

Aside from literally any defender, this would be the one move that would really get my dander up.

I like Pitts and Chase over Smith, but I can justify it and be excited. I'd be a little more iffy on Waddle though

Understandable with the history we got the last 20 + years. Unsure myself but Flores and Grier injected a little confidence, this feels a lot different from what we had to endure since Wannstache took over.

Same, and there's a part of me that really wants Sewell to still be there at six so that we can take him and solidify our O Line once and for all. Either way, I feel like the pick will be used on a player that "insulates" Tua. Be it another lineman, or WR.

For me, it feels a lot like the start of the Sparano era. Getting the team to play low mistake football, few penalties and turnovers, tight special teams, making plays when they need to on defense, and trying to turn chicken :censored: into chicken salad on offense. That's fine. Its a solid foundation. But now we need to be able to take the next step from there and actually build a team that can win 10+ games without every ball bouncing our way. We'll find out soon enough.

Nah, with Sparano it was the wildcat and Pennington. Flores impressed me now for 2 seasons, that’s something new and something that no coach has ever done with Shula and Jimmy you knew what you had. What’s new too, is how we handle free agency, like what we‘re doing there since Grier took over. This is definitely different, hope we get different results now too!

Flores has impressed me as well, but there is only so much you can coach up and we’re at that level we need more talent and dropping down and selecting 3-4 maybes instead of getting 1-2 sure fire studs is like gambling IMHO.

The whole draft is a gamble though, you never really know what you‘re going to get, that’s why getting more picks to some extent is a good thing imo.

"might be" a generational talent. And I say this as a Gators fan who watched his whole college career.

The prudent course of action is to stay put and not get flustered by rumors and pray he he is there at 6.

If not, plan B is to draft whoever the Dolphins have concluded is the top WR to transition to the NFL. Plan B is not so bad for us. We are desperate for another top player at this position. Lets not lose our heads over Pitts (again I say that as a Gators fan who would love to see him in A n' O.) Still it would be madness to give away picks in a panic to move up, I'm sorry.

Plan B(draft the best WR) is almost as good as plan A (draft Pitts) therefore you don't trade away picks.. or down..
