Does that 6 to 9 move include an extra 1st next season? Because that's the only way a move-back makes sense (since that's what we paid to move up to 6th). There's no way we take a net-loss on that.

With that said, Smith at #9 plus an extra 1st rounder would be just fine in my book. But I'd prefer to sit tight at #6 and take who's available out of Chase/Pitts.

That Schrager mock makes me want to puke. Slater ahead of Pitts might be enough to convert me to a NE fan. Not to mention taking Harris in the first round.

Id be ecstatic with Chase/Pitts and Collins.

I don’t like the Schrager mock either and I have wishes for our draft as well but it all comes down to how the players we pick turn out, so I try to safe my puking for later, so I hopefully don’t have to do it at all.

You're not alone, but we're probably in the minority. People are making a big deal about his weight... He has the frame to gain healthy/lean weight.. I don't get it. Heisman Trophy winner for a reason... Caught everything thrown at him. Keep making a big deal about his weight fellow fin fans you'll miss the best WR in the draft easily, and that would be after losing out on Pitts (I imagine.) Double whammy.

I like 1 Devonte Parker 2 Devonta Smith . Almost reminds me of the Marx Bros(with the name similarity) It's almost like an omen, not that I tend to believe in those sort of things. Smith is my objective choice obv.

I think the most likely scenerio for the Dolphins first round is we pair up two more former teammates of Tua out of 'Bama.

It's gonna be 6 Smith 18 Najee(or I could see us risk trading down a few spots from here but still targeting Najee(But I certainly wouldn't trade below 24, big chance he goes to Pitt they love big backs.. I also wouldn't trust him landing on the Jets at 23, they could add a big skill player and stop a division rival from getting who they probably suspect we're targeting, so that leaves us 4 potential trade down partners, our ideal being Tennessee I think at 22. The value of moving down 4 slots should be fairly considerable, so ideally we still get Najee assuming he is our target and are able to add picks from TENN)

Hell we could even package some 2nds to get back into the first round if we wanted at that point. All I know is this draft + the ?? Is Tua a starter, will determine the course of this team's future, so it's a pretty big deal. Don't Fk it up Chris.

This one is a doozy! It likely needs a lot to fall just in the right way but then again it's not wholly unrealistic and it would certainly be aggressive on Grier's part. Lots of maneuvering here.

    I think I like it!

The number of trades is impressively outrageous.

    We don’t pick at 6, 18, 36, 50 or 81.
    Who does that?

I predicted almost the same draft with one trade and Parsons dropping- plus I took Williams instead of Najee at RB. I think he might actually hit on a few of those picks, just not in the place he predicted.

Chris Simms with an ‘interesting’ one.

The ridiculous Justin Fields slide will get people talking. But the rest isn’t too crazy.

Sterns is an interesting prospect, and we dipped into the UT safety well last year. I could see it.

Simms' draft is possible. Not likely, but possible.

    For the Dolphins specifically?
Those two players are very possible.

I have a feeling that Paye will be gone by 18. I think the thought around taking an OLB/DE at 18 is spot on.

I don't think we are taking Smith at 6.

    My 3 round mock:

    6. Pitts or Waddle. (Pitts only if they plan on keeping both he and Gesicki, If not, then Waddle)
    18. LB Zaven Collins
    36. RB Javonte Williams
    50. C Tyler Linderbaum
    81. QB Davis Mills

I’d love this draft and am a HUGE fan of Linderbaums but he won’t be available until next year.

I 100% would not be surpised or disappointed with Smith or Sewell at #6.

Would also 100% not be suprised to see them trade down a few spots and pick up either Smith or Sewell at #6.

I'd be fine with either. I think Sewell is safer, but Smith is more needed for Tua.
