I still can’t get behind the new number system, it looks wrong seeing a defender wearing numbers under 20 and receivers in the single digits.
It will make preseason very confusing. Seeing a player with the wrong number in preseason makes me automatically think, "he will probably get cut." During the season I can't imagine it being too hard.
I like the new numbering. It's not confusing in college, so it won't bother me now. I'll admit that it was odd when receivers started wearing 10-19 but I soon got used to that.
Maybe Fuller should have been 5, then he wouldn't have to have the 'V' after his name. I was mortified when they started putting player names and numbers on the back of test cricket shirts. It's bad enough on the one day match pyjamas but putting them on the back of test shirts amounts to sacrilege. I was amused though when England capt Joe Root chose 66 as his number. It's still sacrilegious though.
Really? Most people have no clue that certain positions only were certain numbers. I can barely remember what number at all someone is wear. LoL.
