Imagine thinking "end racism" is a political issue, let alone that one should be opposed to. Imagine getting mad at that message and letting it get inside one's head to the point they can't watch a game. And while I can't speak on the 13 service folks who died in an heroic operation, I can absolutely state the NFL bends over backwards to accommodate the military.
And this is where it immediately veers into political. Singing the national anthem and holding a flag should NOT be considered pandering to the "far right." That's simply pandering to Americans.
I don’t really consider it bending over backwards when we’re comparing a game to something where people put their lives on the line.
This is pretty much equal to my opinion. But it should be across the board. ZERO politics, social causes, protests or bought and paid for patriotic propaganda. Keep ALL of it off the field.
Once I discovered how easy it was to stream HD games for free, I ditched my DirecTV service. Once the NFL went crazy, with all the political stuff and the fake fans and fake noise, I watched like two games and was done. For whatever reason, it didn't affect my viewing experience watching the NFL, I think because you don't normally see the crowd all the time like you do in basketball. Anyway, all that to say, an increase in illegal streaming could be, in part, due to people dumping carriers and viewing illegal streams as directly impacting the profits of these leagues.
