    Wow.

I mean, good effort from both to stay in the game but the Giants... sheesh.

Here's the "highlights" - you can pick it up from 10:41 if you don't want to watch it all:

What a complete gut punch for Giants fans.

Oh my gosh- the Giants won it! That's two great prime-time games in a row.

Well, they had the "W" with zero seconds on the clock- until they realized someone who had zero chance of making a play jumped off-sides. The Giants won- but that dude really, really lost it for them.

Rules are rules- I'm not debating that at all. But rarely can you say that one player 100% lost the game for the entire team (we say it all the time, but it's usually not true since there's many other factors from that point forward). If he didn't jump, they won....there were no other factors remaining except for the kicker missing.

My other point is that it was silly for him to jump since he had no direct effects on the play regardless of what he did. He honestly could have just stood there doing nothing, never crossing the LOS, and it wouldn't have changed the make/miss one bit. So why jump offsides at all? It's just mind-boggling.

That's what I meant by "the Giants won..." They did everything necessary to win the ballgame, except for the idiot that blew it on the final play. In my opinion, everyone's a winner on both teams except but him. Of course, it goes down as a loss for the Giants either way.

Really? Not the dropped passes and giving up so many points on defense?

No, because even after all that stuff...they were still the winning team as the clock expired. So to me personally, that other stuff doesn't matter since it didn't lead to the L.

Of course, I turned it off when the kick was missed. Then, an hour later I turned on CBS Sports Network and they were talking about how tough it was for the Giants to take the L. I sat there for 10 minutes like:

There are going to be some discussions about officiating now that the NFL is partnering with sports books.

I watched the second half. I really liked what I saw out of Taylor Heinike (spell check that one). I like what I've seen out of him each and every time he's played. The guy plays with some guts. Has a little Brett Favre to his game too....I'm in no way saying he's as good because he's not, but he's got some backyard football to his game that I really like. You can't help but root for a guy like that. I was also very impressed with Daniel Jones. He looked the best I have ever seen him. Easily the best game I have seen thus far. Well...I take that back. The Ravens/Raiders game was a tad bit better, but not by much.
