It's called decades of poor drafting and incompetent front offices, all coming down from a clueless owner.

In regards to Sinnett, I guess they have to elevate him? I mean....Who's the backup to Brissett if not him? Personally, I don't see Brissett surviving unless the line suddenly gets better at pass pro. We may need to sign another QB off the street and once that happens...The circus will officially start.

Yeah, I completely disagree. I just watched that hit like 10 times in a row, I don't see him being driven into the ground. No, I don't agree that that hit was a bad hit.

If the line plays like last week Albert Wilson might end up at QB

Good thing I'm working the next couple of Sundays. This team will be unwatchable with Brissett moving like he's in quicksand.

Its kind of crazy to think how little we did for our quarterback depth this past offseason… especially considering who we were starting at quarterback.. might as well sign Cam…

Well in all fairness, NFL teams USED to carry 3 quarterbacks on their rosters, even back to the 80’s so to blame the Dolphins for thee “lack of depth” at quarterback is a bit petty. I believe all current NFL teams only have 2 quarterbacks and all lack the same depth

Lol at you all talking kap dudes a complete washed player now. Would take a year to even be serviceable he’s been out to long and is a diva distraction hard pass. Maybe they look at gerappilo I hear San Fran may move on from him. Hey maybe Sanchez is available?? Lol honestly I’d sign Cam for a backup role

I have been through a lot as a Fins fan not old enough to see a championship but always loved the Dolphins no matter how bad they are. But if they signed Kap i wouldn't watch another Dolphins game ever just the thought of it makes me sick!

Yeah. I watched it again a few times and you can see Epanesa right before they hit the ground, tries to brace it with his hands. I'm not saying it wasn't a hard hit, but that's football.

lol I've been watching the Vegas odds for the Dolphins. First, before we knew whether Tua was going to play it was a spread of 4.5 in favor of the Raiders. Once news about the severity of Tua's injury started to come out the odds went blank (couldn't bet). Then, when they came up again it was 3.5 to 4.0 in favor of the Raiders depending on the site!

Not only that, the moneyline has just recently moved at sportsbook.ag from +180 to +160 Dolphins (+3.5 spread over there), so more people betting on the Dolphins. What's up with this?? The Raiders have beaten both the Ravens and Steelers, and Carr is playing well, and whatever you think of Tua I don't think Brissett looked any better.

I can't figure out how people think it's only a 4 point spread or why the odds actually improved slightly for the Dolphins after Tua out was confirmed. Do they think our defense will score too? (it did do that last year lol) Good I'm not betting on this one.

Someone said cam is washed and then someone suggested Kaep… how is kaep not more washed than cam? Cam has been on the field, is built like a tank.. he can take snaps.. the fact that he isnt on a nfl roster is ridiculous.. there arent 32 backups better than him…

Id call Philip Rivers but im not sure he would come out on a league minimum

It's not meant to be a plus for Kap, it's a negative for Cam. Cam is finished, his career is living off rep.

There is 0 chance Rivers would come out of retirement to play behind our line lol.

We have what we have - it'll be Brissett until Tua comes back against the Jags. If Brissett gets hurt, it's Sinnett. The only wildcard is Ross making the team go for broke and getting Watson.

Newton would be a slight upgrade over Brissett just for his ability to go off script and scramble for a first down or two. And, he wouldn't be a backup to anyone no matter how much he says he would. Way too big of an ego for that.

Rivers played for $25 million last year lol. You're not sure if he would play for the league minimum?

Guys, at least do some research before posting outlandish things.

Everyone talking about what quarterback they would want to call and sign…does anyone here REALLY think with how porous our offensive line is that ANY quarterback would be successful?

The OL needs to be fixed first and foremost. That begins with the offensive line coach. We need to find a true OL guru who has forgotten more about play on the line than anyone will ever know. Someone who knows offensive line play and knows how to teach it.

Once the line is effective, quarterback play will actually get better because whoever is under center won’t be running for his life

The OL needs major improvement but Tua has never been and never will be the answer. Might as well address both while we can.

    Precisely.
A veteran QB could cover some of the gap in coaching but if the OL doesn't improve our offense isn't going to do much at all.

I’m not saying Tua is the answer, but wasn’t the SAME thing said about Tannehill? Porous offensive line, Tannehill running for his life, Tannehill’s not the answer and yet, what happened when he went to a team that had a great OL?

I don’t care how great a quarterback is…if pressure is in his face the instant the ball is snapped, the result is going to be virtually the same every time

I don’t want to turn this into another Tannehill thread or a Tua vs Tannehill debate(I know that’s not your intent). What I’m saying is our OL is a major problem as is relying on a guy whose had one full season in what, 6 years of college/pro football?

The other thing is, clearly we aren't ever going to have a good OL.

So then we need to draft a QB with Russell Wilson's skill set.

I don’t know how it’s possible you aren’t trolling. Kaepernick was a middle of the road QB who’s play had been declining for 3 years and who’s potential to be a starter in this league was up in the air before he turned down a contract from the 49ers and left the league. The guy hasn’t taken a snap been on the field in almost 5 years. The chances of him coming back and playing at a reasonable level are about as good as Brett Favre’s.

That is to say, bring back Brett andKaepernick are just memes as this point.

I'm not suggesting we bring Kap on as a starter. I say bring him on as a backup. And his "decline" had less to do with himself and more to do with how much of a crapshow San Francisco was (or, perhaps, is).

    Well away from here
Well, if we are being honest I would say that after a couple of games playing QB for us that he won't be running much at all.
