The fact Flores has no self preservation mode at this point is a bit mind boggling. I guess his loyalty is a quality to admire, but if it's going to cost you your job too then you're just a fool IMO.
OK, this is a drive where I expect Tua to show us what he's made of. I get it; they're far better than we are but this is time for a response though. These are the situations he has to excel. I'm not going to be shocked to see the bonehead decision INT here though because I expect Buffalo to dial up alot of pressure here.
I'd like to see a player "muff" on purpose from the 10 then proceed to soccer kick it out of the back of the end zone, just to show how bad that rule is. It'd make my year as making the NFL look foolish is a beautiful thing.
Gaskin with the drop, not the greatest throw either though.. Yet another dismal showing for the offense. Flores needs to make some changes or he's going to end up the change. He may already be there.
I feel like if it is deemed intentionally kicking, or batting the ball out of bounds it's a different ruling. I could be wrong though and thinking of the scenario of a fumble that gets intentionally batted/kicked out of bounds. Either way you're right though, it's a stupid rule. IMO a muff should be no different then a fumble.
See, I've got a hard time putting that one solely on Gaskin, that throw wasn't very accurate either making it a tougher than necessary catch for Gaskin. Tua had the right idea throwing it to that side so Gaskin could turn and run, but he just threw it too wide for Gaskin to make a catch. See; I'm no Tua cheerleader.
I think he knows he's getting canned when we bring in Watson. Ross needs a fall guy to protect his 'special' relationship with Chris Grier. This stuff is kinda old news I'm surprised to be the only one talking about it. https://phinphanatic.com/2019/01/01/getting-know-stephen-ross-power-guy-chris-grier/
Personally I don't think we're trading for Watson. I think it's just Houston blowing smoke to try and force a deal with someone. Seeing how far away this roster is I can't seriously believe they think trading away that many high picks is a good idea for one player. We're not a QB away. We're alot further away than that.
Yes that was kind of the point. Showing what a bad rule it is, by making it obvious to knock it through your own endzone. Anyone can "act" like they "muffed" and suddenly be granted an extra 15 yards for the receiving team's mistake. At least we agree on that matter.
There's our star CB getting burned to likely seal the game for Barfalo. Another Sunday, another L. I'm so over this team.
The defense has sucked all year but im not blaming them today. Offense cant even line up pre-snap today. I’ve never seen that in the nfl ever.
Yeah, the Tua INT is coming up... I can feel it. Buffalo is gonna really put the pressure on him now knowing he's got to pass. It should be a scenario where our QB steps up and takes charge to keep us in the game, but this team around him is so bad all the way from preparation to talent so it's just going to get ugly. Always the same story for this team for the last ... so many years. I've just lost count at this point.
I‘m not mad today, they did pretty decent today, it’s Buffalo in Buffalo. But I wanna see a decent drive from the O now.
It would take a dysfunctional team/organization to make the trade for Watson, given all the needs Miami has. So, what makes you think it won't happen?
