Couldnt agree more. Worked on the first drive though. Think they thought more attention would have been paid to Waddle this time.

Weak roughing call, but I'll take it.

These coaches legit sabotage tua man. We run 3 trick plays and then ask tua to bail them out in the redzone all the time.

That wasn't a weak roughing call. The hit itself wasn't egregious but the fact it was three seconds after he threw the ball was worth it.

Looked like Tua took a shot to the head after throwing that TD pass too. Not sure where the flag was there either in addition to the gaskin headshot. Sure looked like it from my small screen stream today... what says you guys?

Now, the defense needs to get the ball right back and let's end this game with another score.

Brady and Rodgers would have gotten the call but didn’t see it like that on my small screen same for Gaskin imo.

I bet if it had been Herbert that threw that pass, you would have screaming up and at what a great pass it was…

    Or Mahomes
    Or Rodgers
    Or Wilson
Or any other quarterback not named Tagovailoa.

The thing you MISSED completely was the OL holding the rush better AND Tagovailoa slipping away from the rush…giving him time for Hollins to be that wide open

Okay, Tua can now close this game out with a five minute drive and at least a FG. As long as, you know, we don't see the Wildcat again....

    Gaskin proving me wrong, LOL.

Anybody can beat anybody on any given Sunday.

The Bills are losing and shouldn’t be
The Titans are losing and shouldn’t be
The Packers JUST NOW took the lead

Besides, this is a division rivalry that is ALWAYS a tough game, no matter how good or bad the Jest are

I didn't miss anything. I don't know how many times I have to say it, Tua can be adequate and do the job if the rest of the team plays well, but he is not a superstar and won't elevate his teams play, unlike those other QBs you mentioned...

Yea, because in every other team, the quarterback does it ALLLLLLL by himself…

No one blocks for the quarterback
No one catches the ball the quarterbacks throw…
They do it all by themselves.

Nobody said they do it all by themselves, but they can handle more adversity and have special talents that Tua, unfortunately, does not have.

He is not an elite QB. I don't know why you guys act like this is some kind of revelation or blasphemy. It's no mystery why the team has been trying to get Watson for so long, they also don't see Tua as being elite.

We react like this because your emphasis on what’s wrong with the Dolphins is ALWAYS placed on the wrong thing.

My take on this is Tua isn't elite at this point. No doubt about that IMO. However, he's started what? 15 games now? Physically he is what he is; sure he'll grow a bit and pack on some extra strength. What I want to see develop more is the mental side; eliminating the bad throws, the bad decisions. Alot of that will come as/if we get a decent OL. Not even a good one, just decent.

I think it's just far too early to close the book on him, or to expect him to be elite at this point. Not alot of guys who end up being top QB's long term are elite the second they step on an NFL field.

I'm torn on the kid. Wasn't a huge fan of the pick due to his injury history and over inflation at Alabama with so much talent around him. I keep that in mind though when I watch him play; he's not had much NFL playing time, we have a terrible OL, and he's really got to adjust to not being on a team of all stars. It will take some time.

Long story short; It's far too early for me to say he's awful. It's far too early to say he's elite. However I see valid points in his play to really make strong arguments for both outcomes and that's my concern.

As for Watson; most of me believes that's more due to our owner's need to make big splashes when things start to go bad.

The wrong thing according to who? You? Lol. The number one issue with the dolphins is Chris Grier. As long as he is at the helm this team will continue to be mediocre.

As far as Tua, he is not the problem, but he is also not the solution. Our search for an elite franchise QB unfortunately must continue...
