Another run and then a kick and it’s two scores with about 1:25 left. Just make the Fn kick.

With Sanders struggling, I would have been tempted to let Tua pass instead of running it. A FG seals the game.....

Sanders.... misses the practice kick.... now he.... keeps his job for another week!

We run the ball for the clock and then call a time out?

lol.. Dolphins were 1-7, now 6-7 and looking likely to go 8-7 lol.

Tua played well again. That's his 4th straight 100+ rating game. His rating for the year is now 96.1. League average is 91.4.

They should take him off return duties, not because he cost us two 1st rounders, but because he is seemingly not very good at it. If he was good and was breaking big returns I would let him do it.

It would be a lot less quiet with a lot of posts by posters we haven't seen in awhile if Tua played poorly.

So quiet is a good thing.

The Waddle cost 2 first rounders is such an odd take. No one knew that Waddle would be the pick when those trades happened. It was the same as a trade back, it just was multi team, so the value that trading further back would have brought is known. Think about how many other picks could have been trade backs, or trades further back.

He’s been the best rookie ever for this team. It’s a little early but it seems we picked an excellent guy.

It's just not worth the risk to me. You get the Jakeem Grants of the world in the late rounds and even undrafted, tis just a matter of proper scouting. And even after we traded Jakeem after all the successes he had returning kicks, he was still only worth a 6th rounder, course that's partially cause he was going to be UFA if im not mistaken. But anyway, as far as I know, Special Teams are essentially the rejects, at best depth players in other positions, aside from the K/P. With as few weapons as we do have, it don't make sense to have 11 guys bearing down on you from 40+ yards away, especially not a player you've already invested so much in. Even Tyreek Hill was taken off return duty the last few years, and he was just a 5th round? That was more than sensible decision by KC.

But hey, to each their own

Hilarious, this guy claims to cover he Dolphins? Hope someone ribbed him good for not mentioning Phillips. Only 2 sacks and 2 TFL. Totally not worth mentioning. Oh yeah, and breaking the Dolphins rookie sack record. But why mention him, he's only a budding star.

He did talk about him in another post on his twitter account... He only lists top 5 graded players that pff ranks. Not sure why you think he doesn't like/respect Phillips.

If you're truly good at returning it should not matter if you're a star or a first round pick.

Deion Sanders is probably the best CB in NFL history, and he returned punts throughout his entire career.

Waddle has just not shown anything with his returning, so the risk reward is not there. I agree they should take him off return duties, but more because he is really not doing anything with it while risking injury.

I was under the impression he was grading them personally my mistake. In that case PFF got it wrong, and I just don't appreciate players that deserve credit not getting it. Ftr I don't understand X got a "B" grade either. He played lights out all day. But this is why I stay away from sports-media most of the time.

Edit: Wait his twatter handle is @PFF_RyanSmith, I take that back. I didn't even see the O rating post. Lawd.

    Only 9 First down's rookie, you get a C- we're feeling generous. :2guns:PFF

Interesting stat: Jaylen Waddle has taken 44.7% of his snaps on the boundary. Surprising for a player that's seen only as a slot receiver.

His usage resembles what the Chargers do with Keenan Allen

    Allen: 715 WR snaps/ 307 wide 408 slot
    Waddle: 720 WR snaps/ 322 wide 398 slot

This is what I have been saying since the beginning. Waddle is an all around wide receiver

Wilkins is quietly having himself an incredible year. I see PFF has him rated as the #6 interior defender. The only other Dolphin who ranks higher is Holland who is #5.

The "Tua sucks" and we "traded up for a slot receiver who will never be a number one" arguments are fading fast.
