Herbert has the same protection that Tua gets. Any Herbert fan will tell you that.

The KC line is looking pretty dominant as well. It's frustrating- we really are an offensive line away from being a legitimate contender.

I only watched the 3rd quarter...a few minutes into the 4th last night. The question I have...and looking for an objective viewpoint here, was Kansas City that BAD last night...or did San Diego play that WELL?

The chargers outplayed them and only lost because of stupid decisions from coach to go for it on 4th down on 3 seperate drives.
inside the 5 yd line.9 pts is better than zero.

I watched on and off the 1st half and caught the entire 2nd half. From what I saw, Mahommes was off last night and threw a number of clutch passes off-target. The game was crazy...both teams were stopped inside the 5-yard line and turned the ball over on downs. Neither team wanted to kick field goals and it actually made the game a lot more exciting.

One time, Mahommes threw a pass into the dirt on a 4th and goal with a wide open receiver...it was just that sort of night for him. Mahommes to Hill and Kelce were about the only things moving the ball for KC.

For SD, they have a really high-powered offense and as others have said, Herbert is the real deal. Very strong arm, very athletic, and he has an excellent supporting cast around him. They moved the ball almost effortlessly last night, but they struggled in the redzone.
