Thats a wonderful catch and an absolute dime in stride from qb1. And idiot payton burns his last challenge
Tua with the strike on the flea flicker to Waddle. Excellent downfield throw again. Finally opening it up a bit for the kid.
Nice little play call there for the TD. Great drive there for Tua responding after the boneheaded INT. Just like the Jets game, exactly what you want to see after your QB throws a bad INT.
Finally, a good drive. And QBs aside, is there a single player more important to their team than Waddle is to us right now?
Ill say this for Tua: when he makes a stupid play he shakes it off. Thats a good thing. A better thing would be less stupid plays, but resilience is a good trait
Tua has showed this time and time again. Throw a horrible interception. Come back on the next drive and throw dime after dime and lead a touchdown drive. Short memory. Ice in the veins. Doesn't get rattled.
To be fair: the saints hit him low, which is a flag under the brady rules. They also hit him in the head, which is also a flag, and tackled waddle in the end zone which was also a flag so it was dealers choice. And it was nice to see payton so incredulous
