I am so disgusted with this organization for the first time in 10 years I am not even wasting my time watching today.
I feel like this team in the last 20 years has become no better than the Lions or other bottom dwellers in the NFL.As long as Ross is the owner it's never going to turn around.Sadly I'm losing my passion for this team.

I haven't actually watched one complete game this season. Watched portions of a couple, but overall, not interested in spending my limited time watching this garbage franchisee.

    We are absolutely the Lions/Browns.

I've had to miss games here and there for various reasons. But I always want to watch the Fins.

I do agree that Ross is probably the least successful owner in the NFL though. Maybe in all of US pro Sports. In the last thirteen years, the Dolphins have one blowout loss in the WC round as their playoff history. The Lions have two blowout losses and one close loss in the WC round in that time.

    Like I said I haven't missed a game in 10 years...
I don't care if we win or lose today.Tired of these moral victories if we beat the pats.Bottomline they rebuilt in 1 year and here we are in year 3 as usual watching everybody else in playoffs.Like watching the same movie over and over Next year after we make all the wrong moves again we will be firing coach and Gm and the cycle will continue..
The only hope we have is a new owner

Ross is over 80. Most of us will be here when he's gone. We can only hope that the next owner is better, and that the Patriots fade once BB is gone.

I'm still watching and rooting for us to win. It would be the first time since 2003 we'd have back-to-back winning seasons if we win. That would at least show some progress compared to the previous 15 years (prior to Flores). Also, I'm very interested in seeing whether Tua can rebound.

I’m expecting a flat effort with nothing on the line. Feels like a going through the emotions type game and we lose by 20

There's nothing on the line for you- for players and coaches, there's always a lot on the line with every game.

I'm hoping that it's like 2003, when we were eliminated the previous week but went out and had a really awesome game on offense.

The Ross narrative is grossly overblown imo and a product of focusing on Miami. There are many horrendous NFL franchises, and if you look into other leagues? Not even close.

The Lions are a great example really, and most people here in Detroit say the same things about the Fords that we here about Ross with the bonus that the Fords tend to be cheap and let non football people micromanage football people.

Ross hasn't found the right folks, and it has resulted in far more losing than we want, but ultimately he's not close to being the league worst, let alone sports worst owner.

All I can say it you will be hard pressed to find a team in any sport that hasn't won a playoff game on 20 years.

I used to work early Sundays so i could be home in time for the game. It became so hopeless most games i started drinking by 2 pm and the rest of my day would be ruined. Now i work during the games i still get to watch on TV at work but sparingly. I finally got to sit down for the Saints game and thought this is exactly why i don't really bother anymore. I'm starting to lose interest in the NFL and not the least bit excited for next years team as of now.

I looked it up. In the NFL the Bengals haven't won in 30 years pending this year, Detroit in 30 years and we're 3rd worst at 21 years. Bengals will likely end this drought with Burrow either this year or very soon. For the other major team sports in the US the proper comparison is playoff series wins, and it looks like the Reds (26 years) and Mariners (20 years) in the MLB and Panthers (26 years) in the NHL are the only other teams. In the NBA the worst is a 17 year drought so better than ours.

So yeah, seen from that perspective we're bottom feeders. However, we're not as bad (though still bad) when it comes to making the playoffs (only 5 years ago). The Jets are by far the worst at 11 years.

So if the Bengals win 1 playoff game it's us and the lions. That is sad!
Thanks for digging deep with the info though.

I'm watching it. This season's been an adventure, but most games (other than the Buffalo misadventures and the Brissett games) have been interesting. Winning seven in a row was something for the ages and the debate over Tua's future made the rough moments bearable and fun. We have a chance to make a significant jump next season. We have a chance to finish with back-to-back winning seasons. That alone is enough for me to watch. The chance to sweep the Putz is added incentive. I understand why some of you are frustrated, but if frustration hasn't overtaken me in the past 20 years, I'm not going to let it get me today.

Enjoy your new beginnings. Hopefully, your seats on the bandwagon will be empty and waiting for you when you get back.

Me too. I had to miss the majority of 2020 (live) due to the work schedule. So I def won't volunteer to do it no matter how mad this fwanchise that's probably in the lockerroom doing arts and crafts instead of preparing for NE.

Me too. I was pretty confident that it wasn't going to be a close game. It was in the final few minutes there for just a moment, but then we blew them out with the 2nd pick-6 anyway, LOL. Was a fun way to end the season, sweeping the Pats is always a solid accomplishment.

Beating Belichick is always worth watching. Going back to the preseason, I had a feeling we were going to beat them in Miami, which is why last week's cluster **** was so painful. So, we didn't make the playoffs, but there are a lot of teams that did and you can bet they are glad they're not facing us. That is both a painful lesson learned and a reason to be proud. It's like taking your best friend (with whom you could never have a physical relationship) to the prom after losing the phone number of the hot girl you really wanted. You might have fun but your really wanted to have fun.

Losing seven games dug too deep a hole to climb out of. In the end, falling to the Raiders, Falcons and Jags at the end of the games had to come with a price and the football gods demanded it. I don't believe in moral victories, but I guess I have no choice but to accept this one.

Hey man u watching next week?Oh that's right there is no next week for 5th consecutive year.
Just ****ing with ya.Glad u enjoyed the game. I just couldn't do it again as I feel like I'm watching same movie over and over again despite the fact it was a clean sweep.
I'll be back next year hoping as usual for a different result like the last 20

Wow! Well.. whether you watched the Dolphins game or not you really should have watched the Chargers vs. Raiders game ending. They go into OT, they're tied 32-32 after a pair of FGs in OT, then on the last drive both teams only need to let the clock run out to guarantee themsleves a playoff berth because a tie gets both of them through and Pittsburgh out.

So what do they do? Raiders are basically ready to run it 3 times to run the clock out, and after 2 runs the Chargers call a time out!! Why?? Let the clock run out with another running play and the Chargers are in the playoffs, but after the time out Raiders get the 1st down kick a FG and win the game. Chargers out of playoffs. Has to be one of the worst time outs ever called in football.

Never seen anything like it. In soccer there are so many suspicious games where both teams know all they need is a certain score (often a tie) and you see boring back-and-forth play to get that result. Didn't happen here. Evidence the NFL isn't rigged LOL (at least not this game!).

Oh, something else. Herbert had 64 passing attempts. That is the 11th most ever in a game. I was hoping the Chargers would get the ball back one more time to see if that 70 passing attempt record by Bledsoe could be broken. Anyway, cool game.

I was driving back from TN but had the ESPN gamecenter app on the whole way. I know the game didn’t mean much in terms of playoffs but we have to start somewhere. Two winning seasons in a row is a good start. It’s not enough but it’s a start.

Unfortunately I had to leave after the Dolphins went up 24-10 so I didn’t get to see the end of the game however, I KNEW Miami was going to win last week. How did I know this? History!!!

Even though this game was in January due to the extended schedule, if you look at the Dolphins/Patriots historical match-ups, the Patriots virtually lose EVERY TIME the play the Dolphins in December in Miami.

I heard on am radio some sports analysts talking about the potential of a conspiracy between the Raiders and the Chargers to end the game in a tie so they would both be in the playoffs and slam the door on Pittsburgh. I rolled my eyes when I heard that, thinking how stupid but when I got home and saw the game in OT…and watching the Raiders last possession, I almost thought that’s what was going to happen.

I truly believe the Raiders were content to let the game end in a tie…until San Diego called time out. Once that happened, the Raiders put on their FU hats and cancelled their virtually guaranteed ticket to the playoffs.

I’m just wondering, even though this Steelers team isn’t the same, if they’re going to pull a 2005 season, sneaking into the playoffs and going all the way…to send Roethlisburger out the same way the 2005 team did for Bettis.

To me, the frustrating part is that we could have beaten the Raiders, Chargers or Steelers this week or next week...pretty confident we're the best team of the four.

You didn't miss much, we ran the ball the entire 2nd half. Even when we were stopped, a dumb Pats penalty seemed to extend the drive.
