So I get it, he got a first down and you liked the play. Can you also acknowledge how pathetic it is that he has a little over 100 yards passing for the game?
You're the only one I ever see throwing out the personal attacks though week after week. Be better than that man; nobody deserves to be spoken to that way; the fact that you think that it's ok is strange. This place used to be enjoyable and nonsense like this makes it the opposite of that. The last thing I'll say about it is this type of nonsense though is the exact reason the main boards are so dead and everyone hides inside the club section game day threads now. The continuation of it will do nothing to help that scenario. We're all entitled to our own opinions; in a civil manner though.
@canesz06 @TheHighExhaulted Both of you, stop it. No one wants to hear your childish back and forth. You can't stop attacking one another then I'll stop you. Your choice.
Honestly; it's been 3 weeks in a row; probably more. Warnings aren't getting the job done and its making this place toxic on sundays.
Eguavoen with a nice play to cap off the game! Happy for Flores. Say what you want about the coaching on this team. I think his game/clock management is suspect at times but one thing is clear to me he has not ever lost the locker room during his time here. His players love playing for him and play hard for him every week. Even during a 7 game losing streak they never really quit. That says something. Our biggest problem is a lack of talent.
Great win! Don't care what the optics are, this is the first time since 2003 that we have back-to-back winning seasons. Flores definitely deserves to stay. However, if he doesn't make the playoffs next year all this is for naught. Can't keep making excuses for not making the playoffs. Nevertheless we may have found a good enough HC. Tua is another story. I won't be upset either way whether we build around Tua next year or go get Watson, but after these last 2 games I'm leaning more towards Tua not being the answer. He had a 87.1 rating last year which was 6.5 points below league average. This year he ends with 90.1 compared to 90.7 league average atm. QBs tend to improve most from year 1 to 2 so maybe this suggests he's an average 95 rating QB with further improvement and better weapons? That's slightly above average, which isn't good enough. Anyway, on to next year! Great win!
It sucks that we didn't make the playoffs. But, sweeping the Patriots and going 4-2 in the division lessens the sting. Here's to the offseason.
Only thing I remember is a preseason game (IIRC) where he went off with like 5 sacks or something wasn't it?
ROFL... Dude, you're always giving Tua for credit for **** he didn't do... His QB rating vs. NE, prior to today, was 76. He just barely threw for over 100 yards tonight and had 2 picks dropped. Our team is scared of him having him throw the ball ffs. Tua isn't 3-0 vs. Belichick. His team is. BB has largely owned Tua. Facts. A nice run on the last drive doesn't change the fact that he can't complete passes outside the RPO and our team has to gameplan around his inability to play QB at the NFL level. I hate it, but it's true.
Did I say he was great in the process? No. Tua being 3-0 against Belichick is a fact whether you like it or not.
