I'm feeling lousy tonight with a cold or something, so I'm going to keep this super brief. We beat the Pats convincingly and pretty much cruised to an easy victory through the final three quarters, which means we swept the Pats and the Jets this season. It may surprise you, but our 4-2 AFC East record is the best of anyone.

Today's game was very similar to what we saw Tannehill do last week once they took the lead; Tua played smart and efficient throwing safe passes and using his legs for crucial 3rd downs. The defense did give up more than usual once the game was out of reach, but if it was us catching up then many of you would say we scored in "garbage time" when the other team wasn't trying...so I'm going to say that here as well.

I feel like we could have scored a decent bit more today if inclined.

Anyway, I'll write a season review later next week but for now, it's hard to complain about winning 8 of the last 9 and finishing the year strong. The offensive line today looked pretty solid overall and actually opened some nice holes when the Pats knew we were running. Then again, we weren't passing for 2 1/2 quarters...but it was nice to see some competence anyway. I still think we need to replace at least 3 in our starting lineup next season, so we'll see.

Good game, Fin fans...and a pretty darn good season. To go from 1-7 to 9-8...wow. It just sucks we lost 3 or 4 super close ones early on; any one of those would have made us the #5 seed today and eliminated the Pats from the playoffs. We were one short but at least we ended the year strong and made the Pats feel stupid...if only the Jets could have beat the Bills today, LOL.

DPI vs raiders, obvious special teams td vs jags, and defense giving up the game winning fg in 2 plays vs the falcons was the season.

We swept the Pats and Jets this season, got swept by the Bills, but typing with an illness is tough.

Definitely a season where the littlest things could have had us in the playoffs.

The Jags cost two teams the playoffs this year. Us and the Colts.

Key, I know you don't need me to tell you this but get yourself tested if you haven't already done so.
Early cold-like symptoms could very well be Covid positive.
Talking from experience as I had it twice.

I'm dealing with it now. Double jabbed (but not boosted) and it felt like a weak cold with dry coughing and runny nose. I've since tested negative although the coughing continues at a rate of about one every hour. I brought it home from Christmas dinner with the folks.

For me it started out as mild cold symptoms but then two days later it elevated to chills and fever. I tested positive the following day and spent Christmas weekend in bed.
Its running wild right now, vaxxed or not.

I had it during Christmas as well, so I doubt I got hit again this soon but who knows- I might get tested tomorrow. My symptoms at Christmas were about the same; runny nose and slight headache, then some pretty good body aches for a few days. The main thing though was just being super tired and not having any energy.

COVID stinks...but at least the current one isn't as severe. I'm fully vaxxed w/ the booster and I think you're right, everyone is going to get this one in the next month.

My 94 year old cousin caught it and she's in the hospital. She's unvaxxed and according to my cousin (also my best friend), her house "is always like a train station" with people - and especially children - running in and out as if they own the place. She was admitted with pneumonia in a state of dehyrdration and suffered some levels of kidney failure. I found out about her situation on Thursday night and thank God, no news is good news. But since it took my old man last year, I know how cruel this sh** is and won't breathe again until I hear that she's coming home.

Definitely a horrible thing to go through. Sending well wishes for your cousin's recovery.

Yup, we win any one of those and we're a playoff team. We win all three and we're division champs. It really was that close for us this year- we missed being division champs by two lousy defensive stops on 3rd down and one ref that doesn't know what PI actually is.

The painful part of this is that I suspect we'd blow out Atlanta and Jacksonville right now. And I'd bet money we could beat the Raiders. Timing is everything.
