Rogers making the smart move staying put lol. Gotta get by Matt Stafford and Dak Prescott while AFC is Wilson, Mahomes, Allen, Herbert, Jackson and that Burrow dude.
Drew Locke, Noah FANT and Shelby Harris plus a pair of first and second rounders and a fifth. Seahawks giving Wilson and a fourth (?!?) - That's actual not horrible.
Miami falling even further behind in the AFC. Maybe we’ll make a super bowl sometime in the 2030’s. Great trade for Denver.
Package apparently us 1st round pick, 2 x 2nd round + Drew Lock + swap of 4th and 5th round pucks. One thing it does is devalue what the Texans are looking for in a Deshaun Watson trade.
He is now paired up with the RB who I was pimping big time for in last years draft who absolutely balled out last year in Javonte Williams. ….and keep in mind that JW was splitting carries with Melvin Gordon last year. He’s a baller. Russell should be happy.
I don't think they sit on those picks and start Drew Locke man. And as iffy as the QBs this year are, I'd wonder if they will target someone else. At the least, maybe sniff around Wentz or maybe pick up Winston. If they don't, then they may as well firesale and start a full rebuild, but hard to see Carroll doing that. He's gotta have something planned for his last few years.
Theyre nowhere close to being that bad, they have a lot of talent on the team. honestly not even sure what this trade means for the broncos.. theyre gonna still be competing against the raiders, chargers and chiefs. Theres a good chance they still dont make the playoffs
I was just thinking of this. Fantasy draft will be fun. Definitely getting Javonte in the 2nd round or 3rd. Maybe snab Wilson in the 5th
Denver has another Super Bowl window, probably 2-3 years. This seems to be the pattern for them now; Bring in the older but still good-great vet QB and play to win now. Bleak years in between, but I think it beats year-after-year of been a bit below or above average. Also, a lower price than I expected.
IMO the AFC West is gonna have 3 playoff teams, and I see the Raiders being the odd team out. Broncos have a pretty legit D, good OL and tons of weapons ... if they stay healthy. It's a move they just about had to make though. Herbert and Mahomes are too young to just pack it in and wait for better times. Have to try and compete and that means getting a QB on that level. Even if it doesn't work out, it was the right move. Their biggest question mark is Head Coach imo. Will he be good, or is just another product of an Aaron Rogers offense?
Reportedly it's two first round picks. #9 overall this year, next years first, and two second round picks. Worth it if they win a superbowl, but that's a ton to give up for a RW IMO.
