Depends on the money, every year there seems to be a bad deal by Miami. Still way better than what Brisket offered.
Not a huge fan of his as a starting qb but i Love the signing as a backup. We have no depth behind Tua, like zero. I wouldnt mind drafting a day 2 qb to put in our third spot..
Good signing. If he's forced into action, I'm much more confident we can win than I would be if Brissett returned. I still hope we find a developmental prospect with high upside, but I'm happy about signing Bridgewater.
Wow, didn't see that one coming. Definitely an improvement over Brissett. Maybe we could actually win a game with him behind center.
He is 100% the backup. That doesn't mean he will finish the season that way, but for now, he absolutely is. Tua may get hurt, or may not perform, but he will be given every opportunity to succeed. Bridgewater isn't bad, but he's a journeyman for a reason.
Honestly, if I have to watch him throwing the ball with gloves in 95 degree weather I would lose my mind.
Agreed and im not a Tua fan but, if we start the season with Bridgewater as the starter then we are in for a long season.. this coming season is it for Tua, either he shows hes a top 10 qb or we move on. Im guaranteeing it right now though, Bridgewater will be the starting quarterback at some point this coming season.
It would be because of injury, ive yet to witness Tua stay healthy for a full season since his sophmore year in Alabama
