Personally I would like to have him on the team for nothing more then a 4th round pick and not a huge contract but a guy who has wanted out on two teams in 4 years is a bit dicey. Would you guys like to see Walker in a Fins uni?

Javon Walker is ADHD. I've seen players in positions that I personally think this condition accentuates their performance. Receiver ain't one of them.

No, Walker doesn't seem to be very durable.
Missed several Games with the Broncos this year (knee), and blew out a knee or ankle his last year in Green Bay.

he wanted out of GB, Denver got him out, not he wants out of Denver but for different reasons. He wanted more money in GB and got pissed Favre called him out, now he's pretty much mad he won't be the guy in Denver since Marshall is blossoming (interesting note on Marshall; most scouts say when he meets his potential he'll be a TO clone), it doesn't help Tony Scheffler is looking good and Stokely is as steady as they come.

Brandon Marshall is the next Denver Rod Smith, always loved that guy. Never heard much from or about him but he was as steady and productive an all around WR can be. Deep threat or the short routes or laying a block, the guy did it all.

Anyway, as for Walker, no. Hes a speed guy who cant keep his knees together (Boston), whines a lot and thinks he is better than he, and has a need to be "the man," which he wouldnt be in Miami with the development of Ginn (well, at least I would hope so).

The man is a hell of a player when healthy. If he was available for a third I'd consider it.

Doesn't fit Parcells character mold. Why are we trading JT?

I was thinking the same thing. I don't see Parcells of all people letting our best guy on D go. Unless that is, he gets a deal he can't refuse.

I like JW but fact is until we fix the QB issues and get a full time RB I don't think the WR's will ever be worth much in Miami.

He's as much a Parcells kind of guy as someone like Terry Glenn.

The thing about Javon Walker is he may be a typical "she" at WR but he does not draw attention to himself the way guys like Chad Johnson and Terrell Owens do, he doesn't start yelling at teammates and coaches, and most importantly of all he WORKS at his trade. I've read plenty about how he spends his offseason improving his hands and his fingers using various tools to try and work at his trade.

I do like what he brings to the table. Tall WR with good hands and decent speed. But he's a bit too injury-prone for my liking. He probably has a bit of a superiority complex but at least he's devoted to his crafts.
