From what I've heard, he got into a car accident on the interstate near Ft Lauderdale and when he got out of his car, a truck hit him.
I've read a couple accounts that his car ran out of gas hence why he was trying to cross the highway.
Terrible news. I was curious how much he'd push Trubisky for the starting QB spot. It's always worse to see someone so young die, so much life ahead of them.
Sad news. When young people die, it's always too soon. I was really hoping to see him turn things around.
He seemed like a really good kid, his teammates spoke glowingly about his personality. Was a positive personality in the locker room. One of the best to do it in Ohio State. So unfortunate and i hope players around the league learn from this tragedy. Last year, we saw what happened to another promising career in Henry Ruggs. And yet we still had a couple of DUI’s and arrests right after.
I fear when they do announce what happened it's going to be the worst case scenario. Nothing else adds up and plus no explanation of what he was doing on the interstate highway like car broke down or ran out of gas or what have you. Either way, tragic story.
