"He has told you, oh man, what is good, and what does the Lord require of you?
But to act justly, to love kindness, and to walk humbly with your God."

Recently discovered Chris Stapleton and just heard this song for the first time today:

Hit me like a ton of bricks.

Chris is an amazing singer and songwriter, and this song, as simple as it is, really hits home. Really significant place for most men, I think.

The juxtaposition of weakness and strength that is a humble man's walk with God. And so desperately needed.

Keep on going man of God.
His power is made perfect in your weakness.

    Your family need it.
    Your community needs it.
    You need Him.
    And He will do it.

    Thanks for posting this.

Many Christians and certainly non Christians decry the huge number of denominations, traditions, and sects. "If God is One", a seeker asks, "how come there are soooo many groups." In general I agree with that and often hang my head when I see the lack of unity in the body of Christ. Yet...... this song reminds me that there are artists out there who proclaim their faith in so many ways. If Stapleton reaches someone's heart in a way say JS Bach doesn't...or vice versa...isn't that a wonderful thing!

    Thanks again.

Oh and btw, my favorite example of a life of prayer is the constant conversation with God Tevye has in "Fiddler on the Roof". Whata witness.
