A little older and doesn’t offer much in the way of explosive plays.

But McDaniel is very familiar with him and he is known as a very physical player and willing blocker.

Another mild threat to Williams and Bowen’s chances of making the team.

Yeah, I remember the name from a few years back. Don't think he was a superstar, but he's a guy that can run clean routes and make tough catches. Sort of like a Hartline type of blue-collar, no-frills receiver.

I think that this instantly becomes one of the most compelling training camp battles of the offseason but not for the reasons that many of you think.

I think that this will be our first hint as to what McDaniel values in the back half of a roster. What does he see as more valuable at this portion of the team? A raw talent that could really develop into a real talent like Bowden? Familiarity with Tua like Preston? Or maybe a low ceiling guy like Sanu that knows and understands the system?

I think the interesting thing with Sanu is that you probably would not need to run him with the ones like everyone else on the list because he is more "ready to go at a moment's notice."

Seems a sensible signing, like everybody else has said he's familiar with the type of system we seem to want to run and when trying to teach a whole receiver corps what they're supposed to be doing, it'll definitely help to have a player who's done it before who can explain things in a different way.

Did he get injured last year?

Interesting. I've been a fan of Sanu. He was the consummate WR2 for years and could really introduce some professionalism to our younger guys. If he makes the squad, I doubt he'll have more than 4-6 snaps per game.

Curious signing. This makes 13 WR the Dolphins are currently carrying. I would have liked another OL.

Sandy had his best days in Atlanta but since 2019, he really hasn’t done that much. Maybe knowing McDaniel’s offense will give him an edge in possibly making the team

Hopefully this will make for one competitive training camp before cut downs.
But yes, would like to see this for the OL even more, competition and depth.
