I like and appreciate the tweets. I only wish the tweets or comments or whatever, wouldn’t be repeated so many times. Just once would be good:
Tyreke firing the crowd up. Backflipped. Jevon Holland in the Orange Jersey today. Sounds right. He's been a superhero so far in camp.
Anybody else could do that if they wanted it. Personally, I'm going to come back here to catch your tweets and add my own regardless. Thanks, Galant.
Alex13 in the club found this, remember people claiming Tua couldn't throw 50 yards, this is almost 65 in the air.
LBJ sighting: Another angle on the bomb (love my dude in the #1 jersey getting hyped in the corner): And here's a 55 yard dime to Waddle. His wind up looks minimal here:
Hi Galant, I always come here to catch all media updates much appreciated! But this year for some reason my browser fails to load once a page gets too long - never happened before… I was wondering if you had Admin tools to change the # of posts per page? Looks like it is set at 40 right now, can you change that to 20posts per page? That should help load time for mobile. Just a thought, thanks for all you do!!
Hi Whisky, I don't have the ability to do that but I've passed your comment on. What I can do is put one Tweet per post. That should reduce the overall number on any given page. Do you view the site through a browser or an app?
I’m a true believer that Tua’s “inability to throw deep” was more of a testament to the poor offensive line than his actual physical ability. It’s kind of difficult to set and throw properly when you’re scrambling and running for your life. VERY FEW quarterbacks have a cannon of an arm to be able to throw under those conditions. Most who throw the deep ball have the protection to do so.
https://www.miamidolphins.com/news/transcript-mike-mcdaniel-s-media-availability-july-30 Below are the questions asked of Coach McDaniel. His answers are in the article linked at the top. (You have a sellout of membership for the 2022 season. Next year a potential waiting list for fans looking for season tickets. Just want to ask you how feel about the support of Dolphins fans?) – (I know you're looking forward to having fans and the support today creating a little bit of an atmosphere. What's kind of the message ahead of that?) – (I was just going to follow up. So there's some 10-year-old protégé out there that might be coming for your job in about 10 years, 20 years.) – " (The two veterans who are not on any list who we haven't seen practice yet – OL Michael Deiter, DL Adam Butler – are they expected back by the start of the regular season?) (What have you seen out of RB Raheem Mostert so far? We saw the big run he broke off yesterday, but how has he been I guess developing through his rehab?) (S Jevon Holland has made some impressive plays early in camp. What are your thoughts on having him back into the defense?) (Knowing that you like having fans out there and knowing that 32 teams do it, what is the challenge of having a couple thousand volunteer scouts out there with phones and Twitter accounts and Instagram and all those things? Like how much do you have to dumb things down the days that practices are open?) (I think it's been nine years since the Dolphins had a player enter the season on the franchise tag, I think. Someone can fact-check that for me, but TE Mike Gesicki is going to do that this year, and so I'm wondering if you've been around tagged guys and if there's some sort of conscious effort that you all need to make to make sure he feels loved and not just liked.) (What do you think about the ways you can use TE Mike Gesicki in this offense and if you could also address the blocking aspect where you think he is there?) (I'm sure you're going to be asked about this a million times between now and December 4, but the 49ers have moved forward with QB Trey Lance. I just want to get your reaction on how much development he made in the 12 months that you had him and your thoughts about him being the starter.) (You're the 14th head coach in franchise history, and it's been about 50 years since the team last won a championship. Do you feel like there's added pressure knowing that this is your first year and the goals the fans want and the city wants to deliver a championship?) (We had a good conversation with RB Chase Edmonds the other day about transitioning from inside to your wide zone scheme. He talked about some of the things he thinks about. I'm curious what you see as how a running back transitions from different schemes to your wide zone?) (Obviously, the week is not over but what have you learned about the team through the first week of training camp?)
You know what, it would be freaking awesome if we actually become trend-setters for the league in something like using elite speed/quickness shorter WRs to maximize a heavy run package and watch for the next half a decade as teams try and fail to emulate, just like they tried and failed to duplicate the Pat's 2 TE strategy. The Wildcat is the closest we came - it was original and unique, but it lacked staying power.
Offensive and defensive schemes have changed over the years and said schemes have set the “new standard” until opposing teams were able to decipher said new scheme and shut it down. This new offensive scheme will teak havoc on defenses for a number of years until a strong defensive minded coach will be able to shut it down…then that offense will evolve again…then the defense…then the offense…it’s a never ending cycle. What you can only hope for is that your team’s particular schemes are so difficult to overcome that it comes down to the individual talent of your players to either maintain your scheme or overcome the opposing team’s scheme.
Tweets don't load at work and over weekend they blew phone up, but today they seem fine on the phone.
I appreciate all the tweets in one place. I do not find it lazy at all. It is a lot of work to currate tweets and post them consistantly. I have always appreciated your efforts Galent. I have also been around since the beginning of this site
Is Duke becoming a player capable of getting significant reps? From reports of his practices, it sounds like he's playing like he did in college, which would be great for us.
