So seeing alot of post on twitter and other media that say the images / videos we are seeing from practices are sugar coating a burnt hotdog so to speak?

For those of you who are visiting practices is the defense blowing up the offensive line that easily and than pulling back allowing tua to play even after the play would have resulted in a sack during a real game?

I’m hearing he’s not getting any time as the oline is once again caving in?

I’m really concerned they are trying to let tua gain confidence by allowing the play to continue when in reality the play would have resulted in a sack or loss for yards.

    What is really going on??

I've been to 3 and yes that is an accurate statement. They're letting plays go that would clearly have been a sack. The oline has been getting dominated so far. Its definitely a HUGE cause for concern that the media isnt really talking about. Let alone conner williams high snaps the ball a TON atm.

    Serious question though…

Is this an indictment of our offensive line or a validation of just how elite our defense is!

I am not in attendance, but I do know a few things.

Armstead has been used sparingly, and I think that this is a very, very smart move.

Omar Kelly, who is not afraid to tell fans what they don't wanna hear, has said that "Austin Jackson looked like trash this year at this time. He looks respectable now. Actually looks like an NFL starter."

I read that a few places as well, that Jackson has learned a lot from Armstead and he's really improved techniques. He also came into camp around 20 pounds lighter and feels like he's moving better. Better balance, slides more naturally, etc.

From what I know as a former lineman, Jackson's technique has been beyond horrible the past two seasons...we're talking like D3 level college football. So if he's really improved technique than I expect him to be a decent starter anyway. Not a stud, not an all-pro, but a younger player figuring some things out while holding his own.

And yeah, that's a HUGE DEAL for this team...we now only have two obvious holes on the offensive line, LOL. Hopefully one or more are patched up to some degree this preseason.

You are telling me. I thought he was so bad last year that he didn't even belong on the field. This would be a big plus if true.

Last year the Miami Dolphins defense was 1 sack away from breaking the team's sack record. This year it should be even better.

I think with the development of Phillips and the additions of Ingram and Tindall, we will be better in that area. Heck, we will have to be with all the stud QBs in the AFC.

Oh no Cowherd is back on the side of Tua? That's our season doomed then.
