I bought tickets to the Charger game Sat late, because my wife insisted not waiting once I confirmed going. Just checked prices again because I was interested in seeing what sort of effect Tua's great game had on prices, and same section, but a few rows back, are now $160 more per... Moral is my wife is smarter than me, and don't gamble on waiting!
I had to read that twice. At first I thought, well $160 for a ticket is really expensive, I bet he's sitting close. Then I realized you said that it was $160 more than before! Yikes.
Yeah, not setting close, but great field view. Just haven't had to buy since the Dolphins didn't suck. So sticker shock. $300 (fees included) per, 1st row in the section is now $460 per for 5th row (or higher). Crazy, or maybe I'm just old and yelling about how much things used to cost in my day.
Tickets are crazy now. I paid $143 a ticket for lower level tickets back in 2013 in Miami. Tickets in that same section for SNF start at $430.
Third or second party sellers usually roll the fees into the ticket price don't they? Didn’t check that app, but when I bought ticket master beat seat geek and other apps like that even with fees. Which was unusual.
Yeah I was sorely tempted to hit up the game against the Lions here at Ford Field ... but man I just can't justify that cost right now.
wonder what those are prices are today? been looking at the nose bleed section behind the MDs bench. going for $100-$130 w/fees on SeatGeek
Maybe I'm just cheap but, to me it makes much more sense to splurge on a big screen HD TV and watch all the games in the comfort of your home with the fridge and bathroom just 80 feet away and, there's never much of a line. You get all the best possible angles and views, instant replay, stats and commentary and, you don't get distracted by some nut a couple rows over trying to get the wave started. After the game, even if the Phins lose, you don't have to fight the traffic and you still have the TV for next week.
