I phrased that poorly- I meant to say that QB's get more attention from the league, from the media, etc. For me personally, I 100% agree with you...any player that suffers a head injury and continues playing is being done an injustice. I don't care if it's the punter; he should be fully evaluated and given time to heal.

If the players’ union was SO concerned about player safety, then maybe the should have fought harder against Thursday night games, and insisted on stricter concussion and injury protocols. This after the fact nonsense is just to make themselves look like they care.

Tua is the new poster boy/lightning rod for NFL safety protocols and the NFL will strike hard

    Oh you know they will.

I resd a story of Kuechly getting concussed on a tackle he made when he was on the Panthers, Ron Rivera went to his father and said dont worry, i will protect your son. Didn’t play Luke the next six games.

i feel for Tua, because if you look into his story, he invested his life into this. He had his family uprooted from Hawaii, move to Alabama, for this life changing NFL dream. He is going to attempt to play again next week, go through all the protocols and hope to get a passing grade.

if he gets concussed again this year, in the same manner he did against the bengals/bills.. he can pretty much call it a career after that, aint nobody is ever putting him on the field again. Might be unfair, but as you said he is now the poster child of safety protocols and he will get the hammer for it.

Both good and bad news at the same time. Ultimately more good though- no need to rush him back against the Jets. Let the kid heal and let the team make the smartest possible medical decisions for his future.

Ruled out on a Monday? This seems very odd. He has all week to pass the protocols right? Seems like the NFL/NFLPA are going to determine when he's ready to come back and not his Drs because of how this has blown up in the media.

Theyre going to make an example out of him. The way i see it, Tua is on strike 2, a third concussion this season and he’s done for the year.

I don’t think they’ve concluded he got a concussion week 3, they’re moving the goalpost to include back/spinal injuries that could impair motor function so what happened week 3 doesn’t happen again.

I think it is gross negligence to even let that kid sniff a football field again. Something like this will happen again. At some point, in some game, it will happen again.

Yes, concussions have happened before and will happen again. I think the players know the risks.

There were players playing through concussions this weekend. No one seemed to bat an eye in the media.

If Tua had played this week then the team would've been crucified on all sides regardless of how many tests he would've cleared.

Well in case you cant see it, there’s a lot of trolls here. A lot of people want the Dolphins quarterback to fail to say I WAS RIGHT. Rather than admit they were wrong because its clear when he has tools around him he can play… so now its on to durability. Frankly youre all ridiculous and embarrassing. Some of you didnt even backtrack from wanting a serial rapist. Its revolting.

Funny, you didn't show up here when the Dolphins were 3-0 and Tua was the toast of the NFL and being talked around as an MVP candidate.

It took someone slamming his head into the ground for you to come back and gloat, you snake.

You're such a dramatic douche. Your hero is missing games again. He could be the best qb in the league but what good would it do us if he can't play a full season. He's too fragile and a waste of a top 5 pick. That's a fact, no matter how sad it makes you

Look at this post. Look at it and tell me its a dolphins fan. Too many posters think theyre ****ing keyboard warriors and rather than be annoyed their qb got taken out with a cheapshot theyre happy about it. What a joke.

Been a Dolphins fan for decades. Was a season ticket holder for several years. How many games have you been to? That tackle on tua wasn't a cheap shot or illegal. He's just made of glass. I'm annoyed that our "franchise" qb can never play a full season.

This is the first you are hearing about concerns of Tua's durability to be a franchise QB?

I wouldn't be surprised if it's one loser with multiple profiles. They get banned for being a loser, make a new profile etc.

All you need to know about canesz, is that he is universally loathed by every Dolphins fan website. He shows up only when the team is in despair. He was very anti-Tua last year, he hasn't made a post since March of this year. Tua and the Dolphins were riding high and he hid, probably behind a different profile, until Tua got hurt. Now he's back, his typical classless scummer self.

I would say at least some of the anti-Tua guys held on strong to their beliefs and didn't hide behind his success this year. But, this loser waited until he actually suffered an injury to come back and gloat.

He's a rare breed of scumbag. He's celebrating his injury. Don't let him fool you otherwise.

We could do worse than Teddy Football. He's had a week to work on timing with the starters. We'll see. Hopefully, our boys will pull one out against the Jests.

It's stupid posts like this that kept me off of Dolphins forums for years, the constant inane bickering about our QB.

Just an all round garbage post that amounts to nothing more than trolling. As someone else said it's like people want to see our QB fail just so they can say "nah nah nah nah, I'm right, your wrong".

Also, Tua's play this season would suggest there is definitely a franchise QB in there but he needs to learn to protect himself. If he gets injured again this season then I'd hope the team do start looking for another QB.

So it's stupid because you don't agree with it? He's not a franchise qb. He doesn't have the durability to be one, along with not having the physical traits. Why is it do hard for the Tua cult to grasp this? In time, you'll all see that you were wrong and we were right. He was a waste of a pick

After watching the first 3 games, I’m somewhere in between. He’s shown he can make some high level plays and win games for us. I don’t think he’s ever going to have the strongest arm but I don’t think that’s ever been his game.

My concern going into the 2020 draft is still the same one I have about it, he can’t stay healthy. Your best ability is your availability. I’m hoping he can be ready for the Vikings and finish out the year strong.

It would be fun to stop bickering and win some playoff games.
