Rate Our Front Seven!

The title should be "Rate Our Front Seven".

 

Math roth? back up...Fifita? u tell me u see him do nething good? traylor? retire.

Holliday? decent but can be good wiht a better core around him. Wright? good for his 1st year i think.

Taylor is well Taylor go figure. U see neone special? not really so far besides the obvious.

 

They are ageing and some are average at best. We need a couple young studs to come inject life into that lineup.

 

DE - Matt Roth-underachiever- c to d plus.

NT - Steve Fifita / Keith Traylor fat slow guy/traylor is done. Fifita D.

DT - Vonnie Holliday / Rod Wright- Vonnie plays hard. He hit two qb's so hard this year that I actually felt bad for them. Carson was one and I can't remember the first though. Rod Wright has man boobs and needs to start seriously working out to be a differance maker. B/C

DE - Jason Taylor-still brings it although he was no where early on. B

LB - Joey Porter-still brings it although he was no where early on. c plus c plus

LB - Zach Thomas-INC

LB - Channing Crowder / Derrick Pope-crowder is above avg when he is not the focal part of the d. pope is a servicable backup. c/b-

 

Jason Taylor, Porter, and Zach are the only good to great players on the front seven.

For Rod Wright this is his first wait to judge down the line. Has the potential to be a pro bowl player.

Channing Crowder is a good OLB, bad ILB

Pope is a good ILB the best backup we have for Zach.

Capers ran the wrong defense this year. He should have ran a 3-4 with Taylor and Porter as the OLB, and Zach and Crowder/Pope as the ILB.
