Really pretty incredible. That's not what college football should be all about, right there. Granger definitely drew a penalty for hitting the OG on that false start but I don't think it called for what they did, triple-teaming him to the ground and then punching him while he was down.

He walks off the field hurt, probably for the rest of the season, a young college kid not making any money for what he does and just hoping to play well enough to get into the NFL...it's just a shame.

He'll have foot surgery to repair torn ligaments. I doubt he'll come out of school now. This was a guy I'd tabbed as potential for the Dolphins to look at with a top 5 or top 10 pick.

Doesn't seem like the best character guy. Its a shame he got hurt, but I'm not sure I'd want him on the Fins.

Good player, not bad character either really. The flag should of been thrown on Granger for the play but the retaliation on Granger was worth of suspending those Washington players.

A shoplifting arrest won't do him any good when it comes to declaring.

It's a shame he got injured but I'm not about to pass judgement on the Wash. Lineman that felt he needed to be sent a message. No one did anything cheap on him like hitting him low they just drove him in the ground to send a message.

Granger flattened the Guard on the play before and who knows what had been going on the entire game.

The punches obviously were grounds for a penalty and a game suspension but that part of the play certainly wasn't what tore his ligaments.

It was my understanding all charges were dropped, I could be wrong though.
