Everybody says how explosive and scary our offence is and you know we are only 9th in scoring?
Yds don't mean much if you don't score.
This coach needs to continue what he did sat night and run the Damm ball.
If we had same game plan against chargers we would have blown them out.

I think the biggest problem with our offense is the lack of a consistent running game. Our OL is shaky with some bright spots at LT, C and RG. The other 2 starters aren’t starting level players(even with Liam and Jackson). Then when Armstead goes down we’re absolutely screwed.

Puts way too much pressure on Tua. Good teams still find ways to win even if their QB has an off night. If tua has an off night, we have very little chance of winning because of the running game and defense.

We exploited the Bills nickel defence, that's why we ran it so well on early downs. Against the Chargers they had their LB's between the tackles due to them selling out on the middle and we kept running up the middle, maybe stretch plays or sweeps may have worked but it wasn't guaranteed and the Chargers had 3 LB's on the field on early downs.

As for points, I think we are averaging 27 ppg when Tua finishes the game which would be good enough for 5th in the league.

Buffalo was selling out on the run in the 4th quarter. It's funny, in the old days they would have ran the ball and we would have screamed for them to pass.

They're going back home now. The road trip is over. Three games left in which Miami should be favored in all three. I trust they will get back on track. I expect a big game against Green Bay from the offense and the defense plays great at home.

After this week; The Dolphins have now moved into Dead Last in the AFC in POINT ALLLOWED. As in the worst Defense in the entire conference!

This thread is the equivelant of having no wheels on your car and complaining the engine isn’t turning out enough horse power.

My point is with ur narrow minded view is this offence is not as dynamic as everyone thinks and will not be able to carry this pathetic Def to a.playoff win.
If u bothered to read any other posts from me I have specifically said this Def stinks.
    Thank you for reply.

I guess we will just ignore that we have played the #1 and #2 defences on the road in those 3 games?

We are averaging 27 ppl with Tua at the helm and we have played 5 of the top 12 scoring defences in his 11 games (6 in 12 if you count the Bengals game) and still have 2 more to face.

Some perspective might be needed here.

Simple question. How many pts is.this.def giving up on the road?
How many home games.will we have in the playoffs.
When u answer the questions u will realize this team offence is not good.enough to carry this Def on the road.

No offence in the league is good enough to carry this current defensive effort on the road, not sure why you are singling out our offence.

The offence is more that good enough to win on the road, we need the defence to step up and make some stops.

This is it in a nutshell right here. An offense shouldn’t have to score 40 points every game in order to win, and won’t be able to do that in the playoffs when you’re facing the better defenses in the league, regardless of the qb.

Last week, 29 points should have been enough to beat Buffalo on the road.
Last week, an 8 point lead in the 4th quarter should have been enough to win.

Neither was the case because the defense is simply not good, and I blame the bulk of that on the poor scheme, play calling, and utter lack of adjustments by Boyer. To be sure injuries have played a part, as well as the lack of focus on the LB corps, but a better DC could get better results, imo.

You’re absolutely right…29 points against Buffalo…IN Buffalo in December during a frigid game is more than enough points to win. The defense let us down in that game…as they have on EVERY road game this season.

Our defense is DEAD LAST in points allowed on the road. Can you believe that? Out of 32 teams in the NFL, our defense on the road is worse than the Houston Texans, Chicago Bears, LA Rams, Arizona Cardinals and ever other scrub team that competing for the overall 1st round draft pick. That’s utterly inexcusable, especially when our defense ranks in the top 10 in home games. There’s absolutely ZERO excuse to have such a magnificent swing in defensive play between home and road games.

No one should expect the offense to have to put up a performance like we did against Baltimore to overcome such a deficit week after week. It’s unsustainable and completely unrealistic to expect it.

I agree 100% with this, and I've been banging this drum all season. Expecting the offense to put up 30 points just to be competitive EVERY WEEK is idiotic. Tua's deficiencies wouldn't really be an issue if the defense was just average and we were 13-1 or something.

20.5 the last 4 games when it matters.Offence overated and its the damm Qb.
The first half of season was a mirage. This guy is to mentally weak to play Qb in this league.
Any franchise Qb in that situation especially after a 3 gamer losing street drives his team to victory at end.
    Fraud!
