what would be the reality..in your opinion...of switching Roth and Crowder...because of their strong points ???

Well we do it anyways in terms of flipping them based on the formation and where the TE lines up. We try to have Roth line up over the TE a majority of the time to help defend the run to that side. So, they are used to it and both have been in pass coverage from both sides. I just say put Roth over Light because we no longer have the quick twitch guy in JT to abuse Matt Light. Light is good against most things except speed and pure strength. he struggles with power because his feet aren't fast enough to constantly regain his balance. This is where I think Roth can give him issues - not with speed, but with the power moves he has like the bull rush. He should be able to walk Light back into the pocket and hopefully make Cassel uncomfortable.

That being said if we do do this then expect the Pats to use Welker and one of the RB's to get in behind Roth, or try to influence him to fall off into coverage by checking out the play call. Running at him probably wouldn't help them too much so long as Roth can get off of Light's dirty little tricks he does to get by.

I also guess I should point out that rarely is anything an absolute in this game - we all know that. What I mean is even if we did this, we wouldn't be able to do it the whole game as the formations we are presented with will change how we line these two players up. If the Pats come out with 2 TE on the same side to create an overload and Joey Porter is on that side I'm betting a house that we will shift Roth over there to play that side because of his ability to hold the POA much better than Porter can.

I hope that answered your question, but if not let me know.
