I've been struggling with what to say / think in regards to this whole situation. It's so out of the norm and challenging on so many levels. It seems like Yahoo is saying that they will run stats if the NFL decides to restart the game and update as needed, so I guess it's not over. Congrats on a great game and a great year! I hate it came down to this game and hinges on such an unimportant game at this point. I'd say call us co-champs and let yahoo decide the draft order. We had the same records, our points for was 16 points different throughout the entire season, and our last game is down to 1pt. About as close as you can have 2 teams this year.
I’m fine with co-champions and some sort of coin toss to determine the draft order. Like u said, everything was too close across the board.
As for other results, how are we determining the winner of the consolation bracket @GridIronKing34. Are we just going by the final score? Projected totals? Obviously it’s important because we can’t have 2 teams sharing the #1 pick. I have Sick’s 1st from the amari cooper deal. Waddle was winning by roughly 15 with Burrow still playing. Buffalo D, James Cook, and Gabe Davis were going for Forsett but by projections it still has Waddle winning roughly 101-91 give or take a few fractions of a point. Obviously we’d rather the excitement for seeing the teams play the games and total up the points but that’s not going to happen…
It would be nice if Yahoo offered the chance of using the Bills and Bengals players stats from this coming week instead. That seems fair to me.
In other leagues we've just gone with whatever the stats line is now, which seems fairest (albeit a bit arbitrary). Personally I don't like the idea of bringing Week 18 into proceedings.
