There is no line. That’s inexcusable. I’m reading up on the story and he said he was teaching his son to box. Not sure what to believe and if he actually had malicious intent or if his boxing story is valid.
Yeah. I mean, they are both shi*ty people. Personally, I don't care how shi*ty they are. Of course it would be nice if there were less shi*ty people in the world. However, I don't need them to be good people to root for the team. These aren't people I know, and aren't people in my life. I get fans have emotional connections to players, but that's never been my take. https://www.usatoday.com/story/spor...fiancee-accused-hitting-son-audio/3581731002/
I agree you never know what happens IF he makes those kicks, or how it affects the decisions by the head coach based on lack of trust in the guy. Techinally his missed FG would have won this game
You can't argue with that guy, he does not want to see reality. He is one of a handful that thinks total yards wins games. He still thinks Chargers have a terrible QB.
Them both being scumbags is only a good argument if they are both equal on the field. The Browns trade wouldn't look that bad if Watson was playing well. That is the reason nobody has knocked the Dolphins for their trade and everyone is killing the Browns. He is replying to me and I certainly don't think that
Like I said, give that one some time. The anger around him will quiet down as it has for countless other terrible human beings in the NFL. Watson has too large of a sample of being an elite QB and is too young for things to go downhill that quickly.
Its still a very unprecedented situation. We both know him returning to his play is no sure thing so its a big gamble and would have been an even bigger gamble 14-15 months ago given there was no resolution then. The argument they should have been in the mix this offseason? I don't agree but fine its a reasonable argument but during the season before everything was resolved? No team is that dumb. Not even one owned by Stephen Ross.
Ive said it since last year when he was missing kicks… there is absolutely no excuse whatsoever that we didnt bring in one of 50 free agent kickers to compete with Sanders.. we have had issues with field goal kicking for a while now. The Chargers signed Cameron Dicker on the first week of November when Hopkins went down. And dicker was one of the bigger kicking threats in college football.. broke records for his school.. We couldnt bring in ANYONE to compete with Sanders? Why did we leave that unchecked? Thats on Grier..
Could be salary cap issues with Sanders. Didn't Grier give him a big contract a couple years ago? He should have been replaced during the bye week.
Yes, it’s the exact reason. Even cutting him next season only saves 95K against the cap so we will be paying for 2 kickers next year.
Really sends a message to a player when the team says that you're so bad, we'd rather pay you out without getting any play from you. Lol
