Sanders can be electric at times. I'd rather have Jacobs, but I'm not going to complain about us landing Sanders.
I’d rather spend the money on a LG or a RT. If you build a good enough OL, a lot of RB’s will be successful behind it.
I would prefer this as well over signing Miles Sanders, but I was trying to stay on topic. Yeah...totally agree, I'd rather build a block wall in front of Tua as opposed to signing an injury prone Miles Sanders.
We don’t have enough picks to draft one with the glaring needs at CB, LB and OL, so who’s going to run the ball next year, since all of our RBs are free agents?
Sadly, I think this is the exact type of offseason move this team likes to make. Signing Sanders has Grier written all over it. I like Sanders, don't get me wrong, but the guy is always dinged up or has some sort of designation for each and every game he plays and it gets stressful having to sit and worry about whether or not the guy is going to play. We already have to deal with that with Tua. Then again, running backs get injured...All of them do. If we sign Sanders, we need to at least bring back Wilson or draft a guy.
This is the way. Gone are the days where top tier RBs are huge difference makers in today's NFL. Fungible position.
Not really known for recieving or pass blocking abilities. Not considered a ‘tough guy’ runner either. I would NOT spend up on him.
Now they are the favorites to land King Henry: https://dolphinswire.usatoday.com/2023/03/08/dolphins-derrick-henry-odds/
I really hope they don't overpay to get a guy like Henry. He's had too many hard miles over the last few seasons. I'm betting he has a season or 2 left in the tank before the wheels fall off but how much is that worth?
