I like this. Gets separation quickly off the line. Yards after catch guy too. Good fit for the quick strike offense. Solid return guy also.
Miami has agreed to sign receiver/return specialist Braxton Berrios to a one-year deal, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports. Berrios was released by the Jets late last week. He caught just 18 passes for 145 yards and rushed for 91 yards with two TDs last season. He averaged 11.4 yards on 21 punt returns and 23.1 yards on 26 kick returns. Berrios was a Pro Bowler in 2021 after he averaged a league-high 30.4 yards per kick return and 13.4 yards per punt return. He’s caught 107 passes for 1,085 yards with five touchdowns over the past four seasons. It’s a homecoming of sorts for Berrios, as he played his college ball at the University of Miami.
I like this a lot as well. Needed a legit returner. He also gets a LOT of separation as a WR. Only problem is Hill, Waddle, Berrios. Not really blockers. Need to focus on some murdering TEs.
River Cracraft career 16 catches 187 yards 2 touchdowns Braxon's 2022 18 catches 145 yards. Braxon's 2022 is almost as good as River's career. Plus Braxon can return kicks.
Berrios had a down year last season after what looked like a late breakthrough to end the 21 season. I thought he was going to be a bigger part of the Jets offense this past season, but it never happened. This is a bit of a steal for us. He may even possibly emerge as the third wide receiver on this team over Sherfield (who I happen to like a lot). If nothing else, he gives us a reliable return man and we don't have to put Holland back there anymore. I didn't like that move, so this is definitely a nice signing.
Sherfield is a free agent at the moment. Not clear he’ll be on the team. I believe Tyreek , Waddle, Berrios, Wilson, Erik Ezukanma, Freddie Swain and Braylon Sanders are current WR under contract. And agree. Holland should not be returning anything.
All this guy did was fair catch the ball on punt returns. He was dreadful last year but good the year before. I think he has lousy hands as a receiver and I never understood why the Jets gave him the contract they did. Just adding a Jets fan's perspective. He is a good locker room guy though and can be useful as a gadget player.
That is an upgrade over what Miami had last season. It will be nice to have a guy who I feel confident will catch the fair catch
As long as you ok with him fair catching it inside the 10, which he did a few times last year. He looked lost at times.
I had to Google her, just out of curiosity. She was with Nick Jonas before him and also with Christian McCaffrey and Tebow. Not sure if that's the right type of gal to marry, LOL. Definitely worth looking at though.
Well then, you’re right there with us, because there’s three of them (I had to Google them, because like Key, I had no idea who she/they are). They seem like Kardashian wannabes, which is about as low a bar as one can set, imo.
I think we should have gone for Scotty Miller instead. They are, except instead of going for NBA guys, they go for white NFL guys.. the head sister has been around a few NFL players already. I remember she even made Danny Amendola go on a crying rant on social media which was pretty embarrassing ..
The position with him and Ezukama filling it should be much more productive then Gesicki or sherfield
