I live in a rural county with 15k people, lol. Most of my interstate driving is rural between cities too. I did have a crazy time driving back from Tennessee last month though. People were weaving in and out of traffic at 80+ MPH like it was Nascar. I got over into the right lane behind trucks because I was worried they were going to get someone killed.
I was hoping that Charbonnet might fall a few more spots to me. I'd have taken him over anyone in the six spots or so above him, especially since I already have Walker.
Lol try doing 80 mph when you're in bumper to bumper traffic. It's amazing how creative people can get. It's like driving in a 3rd world country
Small world. My wife drives a Highlander Hybrid. Love that car. 29 mpg. Seats 7. AWD. And it is fast, drives like a sports car. Only brand new car we ever bought.
I've wanted a 4Runner for a long time, but the gas mileage is just so awful that I can't justify it. When I eventually get a new car, I'm probably looking at a Hybrid Rav4.
Funny enough I’m looking at trading in my 2013 highlander…it’s about to 100k miles. And looking at a 4Runner or an explorer but last ford I had was a money pit…
@Xiidaen could be both if he wanted. I had an 84 4Runner that had a removable fiberglass top. There was NOWHERE that truck couldn't go. Part mountain goat I swear.
I had a Rogue the year that they came out in 2008. It was a fine car, but I drove it to death, and by the time I'd put 90k on it after three years, it was rattling and shaking every time I drove it. I traded it in with 130k at four years, and bought my Fusion. Due to a change in life circumstances, I've only got 126k on that after ten years, and it still drives great, though the gas mileage is only about 75% of what it originally was.
My wife had an Escape before she bought the Highlander. It was a good car and lasted a long time, but the new ones aren't even SUVs, they're station wagons. Ford has just ruined it, and they don't make a vehicle in the size that I'd want right now. The Bronco family are more like Jeeps, and the Explorer is bigger.
I’m a Tesla guy. Love my Y for family stuff or just out driving myself. Give me two choices and I’ll always create a third. @GridIronKing34 OTC
