If Miami is able to reproduce the sizzling offense they had yesterday, or anything close to it, they may be a hot team to watch later in the season when they are using the flex game schedule on SNF. Potential games: NE @ Mia Nov 23 Mia @ Buf Dec 7 IN TORONTO - this is already a 4pm game, and may not be moved SF @ Mia Dec 14 - Depending on whether SF continues playing football, or reverts to taking weekly byes. Mia @ NYJ Dec 28 I would love to see Miami in primetime at least once this year. Its nice being the feature team of the week.
If we get to see Miami and the Jets on the 28th of December, in prime time, it would be for a playoff spot. Here's to "any given sunday"
It would be great to see Miami get a flex game and have a winning record but I'm going to be cautiously optimistic. If Miami beats SD then we/I should be talking about flex games and possibly the playoffs.
There is no flexing for week 17. So if it's gonna happen, it will be either against the Pats or Bills, and I don't think we would necessarily have to have a winning record, but we would definitely need to be near .500 and competitive. Plus, they are division games.
Ah NBC has flexed in week 17 each of the last two seasons. They likely will do it again. And considering Madden's fascination with Farve, if the week 17 game has any possibility of determining a Jet playoff spot, that game will be flexed to the night game.
