Anyone Here Ever Try Rogaine or Anything Like That?

My dad is bald and starting going bald in his mid twenties. Now he prolly got the gene from his mom. I'm not going bald, or showing signs, but my cousin on my dad's side started going bald like my dad in his twenties and the he most likely got the gene from his mom (my aunt). So take what you will from it, never used those products.

You could be like me, I started going bald at 35 or so. Now, I just shave my head, and don't worry about it. Some people can wear a bald head...anything looks better that a bad combover though, or that bozo the clown look. If you happen to be one of those that go bald, don't lose sleep over it. Thats how God intended you to be, so be proud. Look at it this way, its just a solar panel for a sex machine

 

I used rogaine for a few months and it didn't do ****.

Then I found out you're not supposed to drink it.

 

I'm not going bald, but I shave my head anyway. Nothing to be ashamed of or worried about, just do it and get it over with.

 

I tried rogaine, no results. I've also had three implant operations with very disappointing results. The surgeon once called me an anomaly of nature.

BTW, he denied that there is more influence from either parent.

My smooth, shiny dome is coming up on its tenth anniversary.

At first I started shaving it because I was wearing my hair so short anyway, it was just the next logical step; plus, I was thinning up top and wanted to be proactive rather than reactive.

Now, when I go without shaving for a few days it's...alarming.

 

I've shaved my head since the 7th grade because it seemed better in the FL heat playing sports. I played a ton of basketball and baseball, hair was just messy and a nuisance to me at the time.

Nah, you're too self-conscious. If you go around flexing in a pair of spandex then you'll look like a pro wrestler. You'll also probably get a few uncomfortable profile comments from Lucky, but that's beside the point. It's all about confidence and the way you carry yourself, even if you had a mohawk or a conjoined twin on the back of your head, it's all about how you present yourself and whether or not you can pull it off (not literally in the case of the conjoined twin).

Don't hide behind your hair, let it shine my brotha and the wimmin's will take notice.

 

That sucks bro. I grew up here in FLA and kept my hair long. That way when you pour water on your head it keeps you cool. It was perfect for baseball while wearing a hat.

i balded early and used it. its no big deal, just put the foam in urhair at morning and night. nobody can tell you have it in your hair.

 

Simple solution: When you lose hair, buy a wig.

Can't believe nobody has mentioned Propecia yet. It actually works. I started balding when I was 20. Hair started going fast. Started Propecia and the balding stopped. I also got some of the hair I lost back. It's not a miracle drug. If you're completely bald I don't think all that hair will come back. Got a link to where this has been mentioned? I've never heard of this at all. Not saying I don't believe you. Obviously if this is true I should probably be reading up on it. Like I said, I haven't had any problems with it whatsoever, but you should definitely talk to your doctor about it if you're thinking about it.

And yes it is just a pill.
