Gink gone. agreed to terms on a 2-year deal with the Vikings for $20 million, including $14 million guaranteed. The deal was confirmed by agents Drew Rosenhaus and Ryan Matha.
I mean, it WAS bad. As good as Hunt has been, he missed a lot of time this year. Everyone but Jackson missed a lot of time. One of the things I notice about the center we signed is that he seems durable. We will see who else we pick up in FA/Draft.
If at the start of free agency, I told you Chris Grier was gonna give out a $100M contract, and I said name positions that you would not want him to invest this kind of money into, I think that guard would be pretty high on most people's lists. I currently think that the guard market is a bit insane right now. Carolina signed another guard for top money too. Let me tell you, this is not gonna pan out for them. On a side note - that Austin Jackson contract is looking pretty nice right about now.
