Great play by the O, and sure enough, there's our pathetic D making Young look like Brady again and Dowdle look like Smith or Sanders. What an awful football team we have
****ing pathetic defense. Making one of the leagues worst teams and offenses look like the best. As I said before, if Young didnt gift us two turnovers this was a game where we got dominated by one of the worst teams in the league. This team is bad. All sorts of bad.
This is what franchise QBs are made of. 2 min, 3 timeouts, chance to win this drive.... let's go Tua. Be the QB we need man
Still plenty of time for the offense to pull out an unconvincing win, right? The run defense and just defense in general is just so bad.
3 and out huh? That's what we do? Wow. Come on Dolphins. Tue game is in your hands and you get nothing but negative plays
Of course a flag on this pathetic secondary. Thanks Chris. Great acquisitions there you moron. The sooner this clown putting this roster together is fired the better off we'll all be. That idiot couldnt even put together a flag football team full of 5 year olds
Ross may only extend Grier and McDaniel for two more years instead of three after this disaster of a game.
To the backup running back of a team that didn't have a healthy OL. Considering the DL and LB were supposed to be the best part of the defense ... absurd. And frankly someone needs to be fired for it.
I said 2 weeks ago i fully expect to be 2-3 due to the jets and especially the panthers being such **** teams.. im at a loss of words.. are we potential top 3 pick bad? Next week the chargers, we will be against one of the leagues best defenses, and a strong running game.. we will know a lot then about where we stand im going to that game lol maybe ill bring a brown paper bag
Only reason for optimism is the cross-country trip the Chargers are taking. It already got them once with the Giants, it could happen again. That said, in terms of talent, they dwarf us and should win easily.
lol.. you don't focus criticism on Tua in this game. He played well even if he choked at the end. 90% of the loss is on the defense and the rest on the OL and running game (19 yards total rushing!!).
There are far worse QBs. He's nowhere near the "biggest choker". I'm not defending Tua for the first few games, but he played well this game despite choking at the end. You're way off base trying to make this game about Tua. Defense and OL/running game were the culprits. Try to be fair.
Post Hill effect, no more two high safeties and they can focus more on Achane. It’s going to be interesting which is going to be worse, the D or the O….
He's being hyperbolic, but Tua is not a high tier QB and is more of a liability than an asset. He's not the biggest problem on the team, but he shouldn't be viewed as a long term plan or asset at this stage.
We have failed as a franchise the last 30 or so years because we continue to have that mentality and let it drag on too long. there are far worse qb’s, there are far worse linebackers, there are far worse guards and tackles. It is always the bandage Dolphins until we get a top of the line QB, we are going to keep having those convos about the Tannehills, Hennes, Culpeppers, Tuas, Fielders.. either we get real and invest everything weve got on a qb, whether its a massive trade up or whatever, or we watch Josh Allen be at the top of the division for the next 10 plus years just like we watched Brady for about 20 years
Contract likely means he's here for another year though, so probably not much use getting so worked up, and there are definitely bigger problems. It does potentially mean a high draft pick can afford to sit for a bit though. If you are drafting a high-ceiling talent with lower experience that might be a good proposition.
He missed that throw at the end but the rest of the game he was taking what was there. 3 tds and 250 yards. This loss isn’t on him. You can’t give 200 yard rushing to the back up qb. Or huge chunks on 4th down.
It's just comical that in a game where defense and OL/running game were the primary culprits and Tua actually played well except for a choke at the end that the conversation is almost all about Tua somehow being the problem. It's not even an attempt at a fair assessment. But carry on. And I've stated before I'm not against finding a new QB, though an elite one is hard to find. But today's game is NOT the game to criticize Tua.
Not getti g worked up just stating a fact. I am at the point just keep losing and get better draft picks. Season is toast anyway.
Except for a choke? Tua is 0-3 this season on game winning drives/tying situations late in the fourth quarter. With 2 interceptions. We have only played 5 games so far lol The game winning drives is a majorpart of the entire story
