Well, well, well, a 2 game winning streak and a 3-5 record, but still the lowest overall scoring team in the league. C'mon guys, don't do a Dolphins and wreck my 2026 draft position, or I might just have to bench your overachieving asses! Of course, I take partial responsibility as a coach for picking up Samaje Perine off the scrap heap and starting him when I knew he was playing the useless Jets too...
I’d like to thank Quentin Johnston for his incredible contribution this week. QJ has had some good weeks but this wasn’t one of them. Can I get some healthy star players?
I have him in my other 2 Dynasty leagues, and had to double check a few places on Friday morning last week to make sure he wasn't injured. Thought I'd missed that he would be out and was kicking myself at first that I didn't know pre-game
I thought I had no chance this week going into last night, but Rice's game made it painfully close. One more catch and I might have won.
I had one of those type losses last night too. Lost 142.3 to 141.2. That last reverse handoff to Xavier Worthy did me in. If I would have started Love over Prescott it would have been a blowout. But it was a good week point wise considering both Davante Adams and JSN were on byes and my back up wrs (Waddle and Keon Coleman) were forced in to action. Achane, Kelce, Chase Brown, Vidal, and Tampa D nearly pulled it off for me. But still in 1st there and the highest point total in the league. That was kinda therapeutic lol
Monday night games are infuriating when you get to see where your loss comes from. First Ferguson fumbles and costs me a FG, then bc of Ferguson’s fumble and missed FG, Dallas goes for it on 4th instead of kicking the FG. F**K YOU Ferguson!!!!! You bum!!!
Then this damn Williams fumble costing me a FG, which was BS by the way bc the recovering defender stepped out of bounds and then never reestablished himself as the first person to touch the ball.
Yeah, watching MNF is nerve wracking when you're in a close FF game. One catch, or one missed tackle for an extra 10 yards by a player you're up against is sometimes enough to have you tearing your hair out. Or worse, your player makes a catch in the last drive of the game and you're celebrating...then he fumbles as he tries for an extra couple of yards I got back to normality this week with a loss, but I was busy on Friday/Saturday so hadn't had much time to really look at my line-up pre-game, so missed that Kyle Monangai was starting for the Bears against the ****ty Bengals D. Would have won if I'd moved him to the starting line-up. As it was, Ferguson got me the loss on MNF, which was to be expected seeing as he only needed to score 1 point.
